Peanut, Macadamia Nut, Pecan, Pine Nut, Pistachio, and Walnut-Free Germany Travel Guide
Hi! Iโm Bella, I studied abroad in Berlin, Germany while managing peanut, macadamia nut, pecan, pine nut, pistachio, and walnut allergies. I also traveled to Munich, Cologne, Hamburg, and Frankfurt, where I found many safe restaurants, treats, cafรฉs, and grocery stores. I shared all my finds on the Spokin app and they're all also featured in this guide. During Oktoberfest, one of my favorite local cafes was Die Kuchenmeisterei where I had a traditional Bavarian breakfast, listened to live music, and chatted with the incredibly kind and allergy aware owners. A fun thing to do if you are in Cologne during the holidays is visit the super quaint Heinzels Wintermรคrchen market in Altstadt! Peanut, Tree Nut, and Shellfish-Free Germany, Portugal, and Italy Top Picks
Hi! Iโm Lizzie, and I recently traveled to Europe for the first time with my fiancรฉ and went to Germany, Italy, and Portugal! I found several safe spots to eat and drink while managing my peanut, tree nut, and shellfish allergies and shared them on the Spokin app -- they are also all featured in this guide. One of my favorites was Osteria delle Tre Panche, where we dined on the terrace with an incredible view. We had the best pasta of our lives here - the fresh egg ravioli with truffle. A fun thing to do if you are in Florence is to take a wine tour to Tuscany, or in Rome, take a pasta-making cooking class! โCook with us in Romeโ was amazing with allergies.
