EAT

Restaurant Herr Rossi

Restaurant Herr Rossi

“This is our favorite local Italian restaurant. It’s an elegant interpretation of Italian food from fresh mangold sautéed with garlic to the best risotto. The owner is gluten-free and he has multiple food allergies so you know he gets it. They even have a copy of my allergy card there. Amazing!”

Weisse Kebap Haus

“No nuts everything is labeled and vegetarian! I’ve had their halloumi dürüms and vegan döner in brot! And super yummy selection of sauces and veggies! Note high risk of cross contamination for those with specific vegetable, spice, soy, milk and wheat allergies though.”

The Alchemist Berlin

“We love the Alchemist in UK. We had to be persistent in asking for the allergy file but once we had it, everything was so clear. We had chorizo stew, chicken gyoza, sticky pork belly, squid, truffle tater tots, edamame. All super delicious! Enjoy!”

“Goan fish curry and mushrooms! Their menu changes, but I think the curry is a regular occurrence. I’ve honestly never been treated so nicely via email and they even called to double-check about my allergies.”

Aromi e Sapori – Restaurant & Weinbar

“This is a gem of a restaurant in Berlin. Don’t mind the head waiter he is always a little short but does take care of you—it’s just his personality. If you are lucky to visit in the summer it has fabulous outdoor seating.”

Mizu Ramen

Mizu Ramen

“Allergy lettering for peanuts is different here (B=peanuts). H is still tree nuts and G (don’t always see this in restaurants) is lupine. None of the dishes had any of these allergens. It is on the pricier end compared to other student meals but the quality was good. Nice treat! Pictured: unagi don and tonkatsu ramen (great broth!) with a lychee shorle.”

TREAT

Café Komine

Café Komine

“Was almost tempted to keep this a secret because it’s so hard already to get a table here this bakery is truly something special—a mix of fine french pastries and Japanese flavors. I can’t even pick a favorite on their menu because they’re all so wonderful. The chef is super nice and very knowledgeable about allergies. All allergies are also on the website for pre-orders, highly recommended as things sell out fast. My favorite here is the black sesame cake.”

@nutfreefun, who manages peanut and tree nut allergies

Only 3 had nuts almonds, hazelnuts, pistachios.”
