MUNICH
DAY 1

Airport: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
“I always have a layover in Atlanta when I go on long flights! This airport is huge, so I can always find safe food to eat no matter which terminal I am in. I have safely eaten at Varsity, Bojangles, P.F. Chang’s, and many more restaurants here.”

Hotel: Hotel NH Collection München Bavaria
“This was a great hotel for our stay in Munich! The rooms were nice and spacious, and the hotel was very close to the train station and a place for guided tours. I believe that they offer breakfast in the morning for an added fee. However, I never tried it, so I am not sure how allergy-friendly it is.”

Dinner: Hofbräuhaus München
“If you’re looking for safe traditional German food, this is the place to go! They have a detailed allergy menu, and there are very limited nuts on the menu—I saw only two dishes that had nuts. I got a pretzel and the sausage meal, and it was great!”

Sightseeing: Third Reich Walking Tour
DAY 2

Breakfast: Mr. Pancake
“Great experience! It is a smaller restaurant, so it might not be the best for allergies that are more common in pancakes. However, it was great for my nut allergies since the only nuts were in a Nutella topping. I got the Mr. Bacon meal!”

Dinner: L’Osteria München Künstlerhaus
“We loved this restaurant so much that we came twice! There is a helpful allergen menu online, and there were limited nuts on the menu. I got the gnocchi with chicken and the Hawaiian pizza, and they were both delicious!”
DAY 3

Lunch: McDonald’s
“McDonald’s is always a consistent, safe place I can eat at around the world! The tablet ordering system had an English option and an allergen menu available. I ate here for both breakfast and lunch throughout the trip and had no problem eating here!”

Sightseeing: Neuschwanstein Tour
DAY 4

Lunch: NORDSEE
“There is a helpful allergen menu upon request, but it is in German! I was able to Google Translate it to find what was safe for me. Although it wasn’t the best food, it’s a good allergy-friendly option if you’re in a pinch!”

Dinner: Augustiner-Keller
“This was the best German food I had the whole trip! German food seems to not have a lot of nuts, which is great for my allergies. I got a sausage plate and pretzel (that was literally the size of my head) here, and it was so good!”
PARIS
DAY 5

Dinner: Chipotle Mexican Grill
“Just like McDonalds, Chipotle is another allergy-friendly option in Paris. I was surprised to find one in Paris, but it was so good!”
DAY 6

Lunch: Disneyland Paris
“I was scared to try and eat here after hearing that they weren’t very accommodating. However, I had no problem eating here with my allergies! The staff were very helpful and pulled out an allergy menu/binder whenever I told them about my allergy. I ate a barbecue turkey leg and Dole Whip (which is different from the United States version of Dole Whip) here! The actual park and rides were so much fun as well.”

Dinner: Vapiano Disney Village Pasta Pizza Bar
“This was such a good find in Disneyland Paris! The allergy menu upon ordering was very helpful, and their gnocchi was delicious. One thing to note is that everything is online as far as ordering goes, so it is hard to declare your allergies besides checking the allergy menu.”
DAY 7

Lunch: Ohayō
“Loved eating here! It’s a small restaurant, so the language barrier was a slight issue. However, I showed the waiter my allergy card and had no problem. I loved the miso soup, cucumber maki roll, and tonkatsu!”

Snack: Bretteau Sébastien
“This was my favorite part of my Paris trip! This was the only place that had safe pastries for me. While it is not exclusively nut-free, there were no pastries with nuts in the same case as the pastries I ordered. The staff assured me that the pastries I got were safe for my allergies. I got a baguette, croissant, and Swiss brioche!”

Sightseeing: Eiffel Tower

Sightseeing: Arc De Triomphe

Sightseeing: Champs-Élysées
DAY 8

Dinner: La Brigade – Opéra
“This was so good! The menu is pretty simple, which is great for food allergies. I opted to not get sauce on my steak to avoid allergens in the sauce, but it was still delicious!”

Sightseeing: Louvre

Sightseeing: Palaid Garnier
