Italy Nut Allergy-Friendly + Gluten-Free Travel Itinerary
Hi! My name is Emily, I’m allergic to peanuts and tree nuts, and I also manage a severe gluten intolerance. I spent 10 days in Italy for my 22nd birthday and had an amazing time exploring Rome, Florence, and Siena. Some of my favorite spots from the trip were Limon’é, a completely nut-free gelato shop in Rome; Mister Pizza, a celiac-friendly pizzeria in Florence; and Klass, a fantastic restaurant and cocktail bar that took amazing care of my allergies. Italy Gluten-Free Travel Itinerary
Hi, I’m Ashley! My wife and I just went on our 2 week honeymoon in Italy and I found some great spots in Venice, Florence, Rome, and Positano that accommodated celiac disease. Some highlights were Ramè Sushi, a dedicated gluten-free sushi restaurant; gluten-free pizza at La Soffita Renovatio, chocolate covered cream puffs at Bottega Artigiana Del Gusto, Oreo gelato at Fiocco Di Neve, and focaccia sandwiches at Sgrano! We also spent time at Tuscan Taste Florence for Chef Cary's celiac-safe, gluten-free cooking class, and took several tours. Kauai + Maui Gluten-Free Travel Itinerary
Hi everyone! My name is Hannah and I’m 26 years old. I have celiac disease and I live in Ann Arbor, MI. I just finished the second year of my graduate program so I was thrilled to get away for a vacation at the end of the semester to my favorite place in the world! We went to Kauai and Maui in Hawaii for our trip. I was actually born on Oahu so I try to go back to the islands as much as possible. Hawaii is usually pretty easy in terms of eating gluten-free, because you can always order fresh fish, rice, or have fresh fruit! On this trip, we did lots of hiking, snorkeling, and saw quite a few turtles. I had shave ice at least 5 times because it is my favorite (and usually gluten-free!) treat. Also, I discovered a place that had celiac-safe cinnamon rolls in Maui (Cinnamon Roll Place)! It was the most peaceful trip and there are so many gluten-free spots to try. Check out my reviews on the Spokin app @celiacfoodlover or on my Instagram @celiacfoodlover!

Hi, I’m Christina! I'm 28 years old and I have celiac disease. I live in Brooklyn, NY and work as a second grade teacher. I spent a week in Costa Rica this April, planned by Zaney Travel. Zaney Travel is a gluten-free travel company that specializes in visiting celiac-safe restaurants. They also planned all of our excursions and hotels, which made the trip stress-free! It was truly a one of a kind experience! Check out the places we ate and visited on the Spokin app @gflivingbk or on Instagram @glutenfreelivingbk.
Kauai Gluten-Free Travel Itinerary
Hi friends! I’m Katelyn, a 27 year old from Arizona with celiac disease. I recently spent 30 hours in Kauai, Hawaii with my dad and, while the trip was short, we managed to fit in lots of sightseeing and gluten-free restaurants! Kauai is the perfect island to visit if you love doing things outdoors and hiking the Waimea Canyon is a must. I reviewed all my recommendations on the Spokin app @eatglutenfreeaz and you can also follow along with my gluten-free adventures on Instagram @eatglutenfreeaz.

Hawaii Allergy-Friendly Travel Itinerary
Hi everyone! My name is Natalie and I’m a food allergy mom to my daughter, Penelope, who is allergic to eggs and peanuts. Last summer, we took a family trip to Waikoloa Beach, Hawaii and stayed at The Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort and Spa. We loved everything about that destination and resort so much that we decided to revisit Waikoloa Beach and stay at that exact same resort this summer! During our week-long stay, we enjoyed all the wonderful pools and the beach right outside the resort! Our go-to restaurants when visiting Hawaii are Tommy Bahama, Kona Brewing Company, Willie’s Hot Chicken, and Hawaii Calls. If you are looking to enjoy some dessert while enjoying the beautiful beach views of Hawaii, then be sure to dine at Lava Lava Beach Club. Maldives Gluten-Free Travel Itinerary
Hi! I'm Esha, and I spent seven days in the Maldives with my husband on a second honeymoon. We stayed at the St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort and it was absolutely magical. I have celiac and the resort was able to make almost every type of food celiac-safe. The food at the St. Regis was absolutely incredible. Their Indian food was phenomenal and, as an Indian woman, I’ve had my share of delicious Indian food! We spent our trip indulging in tropical fruits, cocktails, and delicious meals. Traveling to a remote destination can feel intimidating for someone like me, but rest assured that the St. Regis can and will accommodate your dietary restrictions. I highly recommend watching the sunset from Whale Bar with a cocktail or two in hand and trying the signature Bloody Mary of the St. Regis Maldives. It's served in a giant shell!
