Gluten, Tree Nut and Egg-Free Italy
Hi! Iโm Sarah, and I recently traveled through Italy with my family, visiting Milan, Venice, and Rome. We manage celiac disease along with tree nut and egg allergies, and Italy did not disappoint! We found so many amazing places to eat and had some truly memorable meals along the way. Our favorite was Las Soffitta Renovatio, just a short walk from the Vatican. Their focaccia was so good we kept ordering more. The service was outstanding, and they were fantastic at accommodating us. Our Equal Eats cards were incredibly helpful and made it so much easier to clearly communicate our allergies in Italian. Between the pasta, pizza, gelato, and incredible sightseeing, Italy was such an amazing family tripโand eating well was definitely a highlight!
