Gluten-Free Greece Top Picks

Hi! I’m Christina and I recently traveled to Greece! I found many safe spots to eat while managing celiac, and shared them on the Spokin app—they are also all featured in this guide. One of my favorites was Greek Stories in Athens where I had cheese croquettes and traditional moussaka. A fun thing to do if you are in Greece is visit the island of Milos and take a boat tour around the island! For a more off the beaten track experience, I’d recommend renting a car and driving around Peloponnese. Highly recommend driving through Crete for less touristy vibes and genuine Greek hospitality. Peanut and Tree Nut-Free Greece Top Picks

Hi! I’m Gabby, and I’ve been to Greece many times (I’m part Greek!) and recently went back this summer. I found several safe spots to eat while managing peanut and tree nut allergies and shared them on the Spokin app -- they are also all featured in this guide. One of my favorites was Medusa, where I safely had the most amazing fish. A fun thing to do if you are in Greece is a boat day!  A lot of companies offer meals during these boat charters and can easily accommodate! Greece Peanut and Tree Nut Allergy-Friendly Travel Itinerary

Hi! I'm Susie and I am the food allergy mama of a now college-aged daughter who is allergic to peanuts and several tree nuts including cashews, pistachios and brazil nuts. I am also the Founder of Spokin! We are a foodie family that loves to travel and wanting to make it easier was a big part of why I started Spokin! We recently went on a dream trip to Greece for two weeks and visited Santorini, two areas in Crete including Elounde and Chania, and Athens. I was truly amazed at how allergy aware most places where and we used an Equal Eats card for the first time that was literally a life saver! Greece Wheat-Free Travel Itinerary

Hi! My name is Alex Adams and I’m an adventurous foodie living in Miami Beach, Florida. I discovered I have a wheat allergy in 2019 and have been gluten-free ever since. While a bit more challenging sometimes, I love to travel, experience different cuisines, and find restaurant gems near and far. Last summer, I went on an 8-day trip to Greece and got engaged! We had so many wonderful meals of fresh fish, delicious cheeses, plenty of Greek salad and great cocktails. Santorini was the perfect island for a romantic getaway where we could wine and dine at spots like Venetsanos Winery with a multi-course, gluten-free wine pairing lunch, and we finished the trip celebrating at beautiful beach clubs in Mykonos.
