Peanut-Free Austria Top Picks

Hi! Iโ€™m Sara and I recently traveled to Vienna and Salzburg. I found many safe places to eat while managing a peanut allergy. Two of my favorite places to eat were Cafe Hawelka and Offerl Cafe in Vienna where I got a traditional Austrian breakfast and delicious Austrian pastries. If you travel there a must do activity is to go to the philharmonic and explore the Wachau region for their wines because the philharmonic is magical in the heart of Vienna and the Wachau region is a quaint and beautiful place. I found many safe spots to eat while managing peanut, tree nut, dairy, and egg allergies and shared them on the Spokin appโ€”all of my finds are also all featured in this guide. One of my favorites was Joseph II at Schรถnbrunn Palace in Vienna, where I had seared seabass with spinach and potatoes! Two fun things to do if you are in Austria are visiting towns in the Alps like Hallstatt or touring the stunning palaces in Vienna and Salzburg.
