Italy Celiac Safe Travel Itinerary
Hi! My name is Lauren, I have celiac, and I spent 2 weeks in Italy for my honeymoon! My favorite restaurant was Ristorante La Caravella, which had a 10 course gluten-free tasting menu! In between all of my allergy-friendly finds, I went on a private sunset cruise in Positano, took a sunset gondola ride in Venice and even had a vintage car photoshoot and tour in Amalfi Coast! Italy Peanut and Tree Nut-Free Travel Itinerary
Hi! My name is Allie, I manage peanut and tree nut allergies, and I spent 11 days in Italy for my honeymoon! Some of my favorite restaurants I went to were Braceria All'11 in Florence (we went twice it was so good!) and Midnight Sun Minori. At Midnight Sun Minori, we had the lemon pasta and the owner even sat down, talked, and drank wine with us! In between my allergy-friendly finds, I saw the Leaning Tower of Pisa, swam in the Mediterranean, took a ferry to Positano, and so much more! Maldives Gluten-Free Travel Itinerary
Hi! I'm Esha, and I spent seven days in the Maldives with my husband on a second honeymoon. We stayed at the St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort and it was absolutely magical. I have celiac and the resort was able to make almost every type of food celiac-safe. The food at the St. Regis was absolutely incredible. Their Indian food was phenomenal and, as an Indian woman, I’ve had my share of delicious Indian food! We spent our trip indulging in tropical fruits, cocktails, and delicious meals. Traveling to a remote destination can feel intimidating for someone like me, but rest assured that the St. Regis can and will accommodate your dietary restrictions. I highly recommend watching the sunset from Whale Bar with a cocktail or two in hand and trying the signature Bloody Mary of the St. Regis Maldives. It's served in a giant shell! Italy Gluten-Free Travel Itinerary
Hi, I’m Ashley! My wife and I just went on our 2 week honeymoon in Italy and I found some great spots in Venice, Florence, Rome, and Positano that accommodated celiac disease. Some highlights were Ramè Sushi, a dedicated gluten-free sushi restaurant; gluten-free pizza at La Soffita Renovatio, chocolate covered cream puffs at Bottega Artigiana Del Gusto, Oreo gelato at Fiocco Di Neve, and focaccia sandwiches at Sgrano! We also spent time at Tuscan Taste Florence for Chef Cary's celiac-safe, gluten-free cooking class, and took several tours. You can see more of my reviews on the Spokin app @andglutenfree and on Instagram @andglutenfree.
