Panorama Glass Lodge

“Wonderful stay! They removed all nut products from the kitchen and, of course, cleaned prior to arrival. We were able to prepare our own safe meals!”

Hunkubakkar Guesthouse

“We stayed in little red cabins on the southern Iceland hillside. It’s a great location in between K-town and Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon. The lady who ran the front desk was also the chef and was very kind and went over the top for us. She made my sister and I individual breakfasts and brought them to our cabin. Totally recommend.”

Hilton Reykjavik Nordica

“Refrigerator in the room. Easy grocery store accessibility. The restaurant staff went out of their way to ensure they understood the allergens and in the case of the breakfast buffet, brought separate plated safe food from the kitchen.”

Hótel Vík

“This is the nicest hotel in Vik and it has an excellent dinner restaurant, Berg. Breakfast is included with the room rate and is served in Berg, and the waitstaff knew exactly what was safe and what wasn’t. I didn’t see anything with nuts, but there were a couple items that were cross-contaminated. Our ‘family room’ does not have a refrigerator, but there is the hotel restaurant and a grocery store practically across the street. Vik is very small, but there are plenty of restaurants to choose from as well!”

Kvosin Downtown Hotel

“Great hotel in the center of Reykjavik. Our room has a small kitchenette with a sink, a small induction stove, a small refrigerator, and plenty of plates, cups, and utensils. The lobby also sells a few food and drink items and is helpful with nearby restaurants. The hotel is very close to many restaurants and grocery stores.”

Hotel Jökull

“Breakfast is included in the price and is not one to miss! They served the best homemade bread we’ve had so far (which is saying something) and an assortment of meats, cheeses, fruits, yogurts, and cereals. No nuts on the buffet, some seeds in granola but they are contained. Fresh squeezed juices and unlimited coffee. We slept great and the hotel was super clean. Also close to town where there is a good assortment of restaurants and shops. Family run business and the hosts went above and beyond for us!!!”
