CALIFORNIA

Angel Stadium of Anaheim

Location: Anaheim, California

“We went to this stadium a couple of times, and there are some options, not many though. They allow you to bring in a small sandwich or snacks if you have allergies!!”

Oracle Park

Location: San Francisco, California

“They have a new dedicated gluten-free restaurant on the bottom level! Options for gluten-free pizza, hot dogs, and other snacks. They usually have one or two peanut-free games a year! I’ve been a few times to regular games & always had pretty good experiences. I wipe down my seat and we usually get cheap tickets up in the outfield, so stands are usually not as packed and have less peanuts. They have a good taco stand that’s nut-free & mostly gluten-free! I do try to be careful with what I eat at the games/not get food I have to touch due to peanut dust & potential cross contact. I think Oracle Park is one of the better stadiums in regards to peanut allergies—I haven’t been in a few years but definitely am excited to go back when I move to San Francisco!”

Petco Park

Location: San Diego, California

“If you want to really be away from peanuts, go during the selected peanut-free games. We had to tickets to park at the Park, which is behind the outfield and had no issues with peanuts. There were some in one section of the grass and they did have them for sale but the kids area is a no food area. I love going to a baseball game and I’m very careful about touching things and especially the ground. I just used caution and have a severe anaphylactic allergy. They also had a lot of gluten-free options.”

CONNECTICUT

Dunkin’ Donuts Park

Location: Hartford, Connecticut

“Newly named Dunkin’ Park, this ballpark is home to the Hartford Yard Goats, a minor league baseball team. Dunkin’ Park has been a peanut-free ballpark since the 2019 season, and has many delicious food options to enjoy!”

FLORIDA

JetBlue Park

Location: Fort Myers, Florida

“Visited JetBlue Stadium in Fort Meyers, Florida today to watch the Red Sox vs. Phillies. I was nervous because the website said no outside food or drink. I packed a cooler and hoped for the best. On the way there I read up about the ADA act and laws. I took his allergy action plan and was ready in case they gave me trouble. Thankfully, the people at security (a bunch of older gentlemen) gave us no problem whatsoever! We also had our two year old with us and they acted like it was common for people with young kids to bring food. I was so relieved! Bonus: there was a Kona ice and my son got to enjoy one!”

Tropicana Field

Location: St. Petersburg, Florida

“We called ahead to ask if any accommodations could be made for me because I am allergic to peanuts. They exceeded our expectations by far! The stadium has a designated peanut-free suite. The view from the suite was great, the tickets were affordable ($52 per ticket), and the staff were so kind (especially Elizabeth, who helped us buy the tickets). Note: there was not a private bathroom; this wasn’t a problem for us, but it may be for some. I am so thankful to the Tampa Bay Rays and Tropicana Stadium for their willingness to accommodate my allergy!”

GEORGIA

Truist Field

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

“It was our first Braves game so we were not sure what to expect. We spotted lots of nut-safe foods, like frozen Minute Maids, skittles, Swedish Fish, etc. Yes, there are bags of peanuts everywhere. Luckily no one immediately surrounding us had any. We sat in general admission so could’ve moved seats if we encountered an issue. My peanut and tree nut-allergic daughter safely ate a hot dog from the stadium. You’re also allowed to carry in snacks in a clear ziplock bag.”

“There are quite a lot of nuts around, BUT they have Oatly soft-serve, which made my day! It comes straight out of the dispenser so I felt safe, and they had both chocolate and vanilla.”

@amandayoung03 who manages peanut, tree nut, milk, egg, fish, and shellfish allergies

IOWA

Principal Park

Location: Des Moines, Iowa

“We went here recently for a baseball game. They do sell peanuts here so it’s definitely up to your comfort level. The Dippin Dots here are in individual servings which was nice. We were able to have popcorn, a hotdog, cotton candy and a snow cone here safely. While walking around I did see they had a gluten-free stand that had a variety of offerings which was cool to see. They also allow you to bring in a non-see-through bag if you are carrying medication which was nice because we showed them our Auvi Qs and had no issue getting in.”

@vkotz who manages peanut and tree nut allergies

KENTUCKY

Florence Y’alls

MARYLAND

Nymeo Field At Harry Grove Stadium

“We had a great experience at Nymeo Field attending a Frederick Keys game. Although they do sell peanuts, we were able to safely get a pretzel (Super brand), and she was able to eat their cheeseburger with her peanut and tree nut allergies.”

@jennthoman who manages peanut, and tree nut allergies

Oriole Park at Camden Yards

Location: Baltimore, Maryland

“We’ve attended many Orioles games over the years and we’ve always managed to find safe food for our peanut and tree nut allergic daughter. They also have a great policy where you can bring snacks inside the park in a clear gallon size bag, so we take advantage of that too! They sell suite tickets to 5-7 games per season that are considered for peanut allergies. We’ve always been able to grab seats to a game that way. We’ve also sat in the regular seating too. Our faves – soft serve on the 1st floor at the Dippin Dots counter. Plain vanilla/chocolate safe for nut allergies. We also love Fuzzies Burgers (3rd base side). Nut-safe. Staff immediately knew it was safe… and they’re delicious!”

@jennthoman who manages peanut and tree nut allergies

MASSACHUSETTS

Fenway Park

Location: Boston, Massachusetts

“Safely got chicken tenders and fries at this game after reading a Spokin review! They have a few peanut-free games throughout the season! They have a special section that’s cleaned 12 hours before the game and the concessions stands near by the section will not sell peanuts during the game.
Otherwise, online allergen info is hard to come by (they do have a list online of gluten-fee offerings). However, if you go up to any concession stand, they have an allergen chart that you can ask for. They also allow you to bring in your own snacks if you have an allergy and the staff has always been willing to answer questions for me and double check any ingredients. If you Google ‘Red Sox peanut allergy’, you can find a whole list of FAQ about allergies and the park!”

MICHIGAN

Comerica Park

Location: Detroit, Michigan

“The Detroit Tigers have peanut free suites for certain games each season. I went a couple of times in the past and had a great time! They gave us a peanut-free suite shared with other allergy families and it was expensive but awesome to have a space to feel safer and very cool to be at a game. Thankful they had options for us!”

@sabudama who manages peanut, tree nut, and legume allergies

MINNESOTA

Target Field

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota

“I went here a few years ago to see how I’d do with my very severe airborne peanut allergy, and got tickets for the outfield hopefully away from people. Unfortunately it was a popular game and the seats were packed with people. I told the section staff my allergy situation just so they were aware if something happened, and before I knew it we were being escorted up to a Delta suite to watch the game. They were incredibly kind and supportive and asked if we needed anything at all. I was so grateful for them and their understanding in that moment, and will never forget the experience.”

MISSOURI

Busch Stadium

Location: St. Louis, Missouri

“There is a lot of information online about food at Busch Stadium, including a page on their website about foods that contain or may contain nuts, contain gluten, are vegan, etc.! The staff can’t usually access ingredient labels at the game so I recommend looking it up yourself.”

@amandayoung03 who manages peanut, tree nut, milk, egg, fish, and shellfish allergies

Kauffman Stadium

Location: Kansas City, Missouri

“The royals often have peanut-free games. The fans are always willing to not eat their peanuts if you have an allergy. They do offer foods at the park, such as Minute Made lemon bars, and they allow you to bring in food from home and cleaning wipes to clean seating.”

@dhodson500 who manages a peanut allergy

NEW YORK

Citi Field

Location: Queens County, New York

“I have been here on days when they have ‘Peanut-Free Suites.’ They provide totally safe food and you cannot bring in any outside products due to safety/allergy concerns. There is an inside part of the suite and if the wind is blowing and you feel unsafe, you can watch the game from inside. They do a deep clean of the entire suite (including outside areas) before these games. AMAZING experience and the only way I’ve been able to watch my favorite sport in person!”

NBT Bank Stadium

Location: Syracuse, New York

“They have peanuts, but it doesn’t feel like they’re as prominent as they are at MLB games. Hot dog buns are nut, sesame and milk-free. Fries are fried in canola oil!”

@carlinhanley who manages peanut, tree nut, sesame and shrimp allergies

Yankee Stadium

Location: Bronx, New York

“Yankee stadium offers dairy-free Oatly soft serve, a lot of gluten-free, vegan, kosher and vegetarian options! I have never had a problem finding peanut-free and delicious options! I safely ate the chicken fingers and fries, a hot dog and Mister Softee ice cream. The next peanut-free suite offering at Yankee Stadium is on Tuesday, August 6, 2024. Yankee Stadium does permit you to bring food into the stadium for personal consumption, however foods like apples and oranges must be sliced prior to entering.”

PENNSYLVANIA

Citizens Bank Park

@celiactivist who manages celiac and an oat allergy

PNC Park

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

“Plenty of options for gluten-free (mostly pre packaged, though, but some places do accommodate so it’s worth asking) – my favorite is the kettle corn. They occasionally have fully peanut-free games and gluten-free games for celiac awareness events. BRGR is on the lower level and does have plenty of gluten-free options including buns.”

@gluttenous who manages celiac and egg and grain allergies

TEXAS

Globe Life Park in Arlington

Location: Arlington, Texas

“Went to an MLB game here to watch the Texas Rangers play! It’s an indoor air conditioned stadium because of the Texas heat and was very clean! We sat pretty high up and wiped down our seats and had no issues with peanuts. All the peanut bags at concession stands are sealed. Oatly is a sponsor of this field, and their top 8 allergen free soft serve is sold throughout the stadium! It’s available in vanilla and chocolate and so good!! They also have Bahama Buck’s shaved ice which was another safe allergy-friendly option!”

@emsnutfreeeats who manages peanut and tree nut allergies

DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

Nationals Park

Location: Washington, District of Columbia

“Every year they have designated peanut-free booths which is located in a box section for a very reasonable price. They also allow you to bring your own food in. Loved having the experience of going to the baseball game without the added worry of peanuts.”

@theallergictab who manages peanut, tree nut, and legume allergies

WASHINGTON

T-Mobile Park

Location: Seattle, Washington

“No peanut section, but had a great time here & no issues with an anaphylactic peanut allergy. We sat in the very top section, so there were few people and very few (if any) peanuts, but my overall observation was that everyone watching Mariners games in Seattle are not big nut eaters. This was one of the cleanest MLB stadiums I’ve been to! If you go to a night game, make sure to sit in sections 310-320ish because the view of Downtown Seattle is amazing! There wasn’t a ton of great food here, but one find was the Salt & Straw cart on the main level that serves no flavors with nuts or gluten! They also put the ice cream in a cup first and then top with a cone, so there was also no gluten cross-contact!!”

Wisconsin Timber Rattlers

“The Wisconsin timber rattlers post to peanut-free nights where they power wash the entire stadium before the game. So all peanut residue is removed. Each concession stand, has an allergy binder that shows the allergens in every item they carry. They are an excellent supporter of the food allergy community. Highly recommend!”
