California Road Trip Allergy-Friendly Travel Itinerary
Hi, I’m Lisa Horne of the blog Food Allergy P.I., and host of the Food Allergy Talk podcast. My oldest son has anaphylactic food allergies to peanut, tree nuts, shellfish, oat, garlic, sweet potato, watermelon, and pear. I also help my husband manage fibromyalgia along with his food allergies: pea, mushroom, avocado, mustard, sesame, onion, and lima bean. Our most recent journey took us up the historic Pacific Coast Highway, through a small Danish Village, and to a stop on the way home that was recently made famous in a Netflix kid’s movie. Southern California Nut Allergy-Friendly Travel Itinerary
Hello! My name is Victoria, I live in Iowa, and I have a child who’s allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. I spent a week traveling to SoCal with my family, where we stayed in an Airbnb and launched our allergy treatment at the Food Allergy Institute. We went to our appointments in the morning but had the rest of the day to spend in the area. Some of our favorite spots were SomiSomi, the gorgeous views at Griffith Observatory (where we got to hold an actual meteorite from Mars!), and spending time at the beach. Kauai + Maui Gluten-Free Travel Itinerary
Hi everyone! My name is Hannah and I’m 26 years old. I have celiac disease and I live in Ann Arbor, MI. I just finished the second year of my graduate program so I was thrilled to get away for a vacation at the end of the semester to my favorite place in the world! We went to Kauai and Maui in Hawaii for our trip. I was actually born on Oahu so I try to go back to the islands as much as possible. Hawaii is usually pretty easy in terms of eating gluten-free, because you can always order fresh fish, rice, or have fresh fruit! On this trip, we did lots of hiking, snorkeling, and saw quite a few turtles. I had shave ice at least 5 times because it is my favorite (and usually gluten-free!) treat. Also, I discovered a place that had celiac-safe cinnamon rolls in Maui (Cinnamon Roll Place)! It was the most peaceful trip and there are so many gluten-free spots to try. Check out my reviews on the Spokin app @celiacfoodlover or on my Instagram @celiacfoodlover!
Hawaii Allergy-Friendly Travel Itinerary
Hi everyone! My name is Natalie and I’m a food allergy mom to my daughter, Penelope, who is allergic to eggs and peanuts. Last summer, we took a family trip to Waikoloa Beach, Hawaii and stayed at The Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort and Spa. We loved everything about that destination and resort so much that we decided to revisit Waikoloa Beach and stay at that exact same resort this summer! During our week-long stay, we enjoyed all the wonderful pools and the beach right outside the resort! Our go-to restaurants when visiting Hawaii are Tommy Bahama, Kona Brewing Company, Willie’s Hot Chicken, and Hawaii Calls. If you are looking to enjoy some dessert while enjoying the beautiful beach views of Hawaii, then be sure to dine at Lava Lava Beach Club. Denver is one of the most celiac-friendly cities in the U.S. with over 20+ dedicated gluten-free spots! I shared all of my recommendations on the Spokin app @eatglutenfreeaz and you can also follow along with my gluten-free adventures on Instagram @eatglutenfreeaz.

Gluten Free Las Vegas Allergy-Friendly Travel Itinerary
Hi! I’m Kelsey, and I spent a week in Las Vegas and Joshua Tree National Park. I found some great spots that accommodated my peanut, tree nut, dairy, gluten, soy, crustacean, banana, and kiwi allergies and OAS. Some of my favorite spots from the trip were China Poblano, Teka Handrolls, and hiking food from Wildland Trekking! We visited lots of restaurants but also spent time hiking many miles in Joshua Tree National Park and the Valley of Fire. I reviewed all my spots from the trip on the Spokin app! Atlanta Allergy-Friendly Travel Itinerary
Hi! I’m Amanda, I’m 22 years old and live in Orlando, Florida. I spent 5 days in Atlanta, Georgia to explore the city and career opportunities. I found so many amazing spots that were either allergy-friendly or able to accommodate my severe peanut allergy. Some of my favorite stops include Toscano Ristorante Italiano, a family-owned and operated Italian restaurant in the heart of Atlantic Station, and Cake In The Box Bakery, Atlanta’s nut free bakery. If you are looking for allergy-friendly Beignets, you have to check out Yay Beignets. They are the best beignets I have ever had, and 100% peanut free! I reviewed all my spots from the trip on the Spokin app! Follow me on the Spokin app @amandapayo1219 and Instagram @amandapayo1219 to see more of my restaurant reviews and travel finds!

Hi, y’all! My name is Jenna Urben, and I’m a 29 year old food blogger from Dallas, TX. I developed an egg allergy in high school and lactose intolerance in college. My husband and I love to travel and recently became annual passholders at Universal Orlando Resort in Florida! In addition to experiencing the rides, attractions, and shows, I really enjoy trying new allergy friendly and plant based food throughout the parks.
