California Road Trip Allergy-Friendly Travel Itinerary

Hi, I’m Lisa Horne of the blog Food Allergy P.I., and host of the Food Allergy Talk podcast. My oldest son has anaphylactic food allergies to peanut, tree nuts, shellfish, oat, garlic, sweet potato, watermelon, and pear. I also help my husband manage fibromyalgia along with his food allergies: pea, mushroom, avocado, mustard, sesame, onion, and lima bean. Our most recent journey took us up the historic Pacific Coast Highway, through a small Danish Village, and to a stop on the way home that was recently made famous in a Netflix kid’s movie. Madison, Wisconsin Dairy and Egg Allergy-Friendly Travel Itinerary

Hey there, I’m Jenna and I’m 23 years old! I live in Los Angeles and I’m allergic to dairy, eggs, beef, and pork. I recently spent a few days in Madison, Wisconsin to visit my parents! I was surprised to find some amazing dairy-free spots in Madison that included Miko Poke (vegan Dole Whip, yes please!) and Sookie’s Veggie Burgers. Southern California Nut Allergy-Friendly Travel Itinerary

Hello! My name is Victoria, I live in Iowa, and I have a child who’s allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. I spent a week traveling to SoCal with my family, where we stayed in an Airbnb and launched our allergy treatment at the Food Allergy Institute. We went to our appointments in the morning but had the rest of the day to spend in the area. Some of our favorite spots were SomiSomi, the gorgeous views at Griffith Observatory (where we got to hold an actual meteorite from Mars!), and spending time at the beach. Toronto Dairy and Egg Allergy-Friendly Travel Itinerary

Edinburgh Gluten-Free Travel Itinerary

Hi, I’m Laynie! I spent 9 days in Scotland this summer and found so many great spots that accommodated celiac disease. Paris Nut Allergy-Friendly Travel Itinerary

Hi, my name is Riya! I’m 17 years old, live in New Jersey, and manage peanut, tree nut, and shellfish allergies. For our summer trip, we visited Paris, France! We went to many different places including the Louvre, Monet’s Gardens, and the Vendome. We visited during Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week, so we saw a few celebrities and models at the Paris Ritz. The cooking class we took was definitely a highlight. We also visited the Eiffel Tower and went to a few restaurants nearby. Turks and Caicos Nut Allergy-Friendly Travel Itinerary

Hi! My name is Anjali Nair and I’m 18 years old. I live in Virginia and I am allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, legumes, and shrimp. This summer, my family and I took a 5 day vacation to the stunning Turks and Caicos! Besides the beautiful beaches, sunsets, and crystal clear waters, the islands have so much to offer, whether it’s delicious meals at ocean side restaurants, beach barbecues with live music and dancing, or refreshing frozen treats on a hot summer day. We stayed at West Bay Club and ate at some great places including Sharkbite, Mango Reef, Mr. Groupers, and Turkberry. Singapore Allergy-Friendly Travel Itinerary

Hi, I'm Amanda! I'm 19 years old and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, but I go to college in St. Louis. I spent two weeks in Singapore visiting my mom's family this summer. I found some great spots that accommodated my allergies to dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, and shellfish. (I am also vegan!). Some of my favorite spots were Joie, a fine dining restaurant on Orchard Road, Din Tai Fung, and Eight Treasures Vegetarian. We ate lots of great food but also spent time sightseeing at the ArtScience Museum, Gardens by the Bay, Singapore Flyer, Chinatown, and Orchard Road. Hello! My name is Izzy and I spent a week traveling to Amsterdam and Copenhagen and 2 weeks studying at Lund University in Sweden! I found so many great spots that accommodated my tree nut, sesame, and salmon allergies. Some of my favorite spots from the trip were Impero Romano, Foodhallen, and Gastro None. We visited lots of restaurants but also spent time sightseeing at the Anne Frank House, took a wine and cheese tour of the Canal Copenhagen, and explored the botanical gardens in Lund!
