Nut, Milk, Egg, Pumpkin, and Sesame-Free Norway Top Picks
Hi! I’m Emme, and I recently studied abroad in Bergen, Norway, with trips up to Tromsø, Lofoten, Svolvær, and Flåm along the way. Even with peanut, tree nut, dairy, egg, sesame, and pumpkin allergies, I found the most delicious meals and went on life-changing excursions. My favorite restaurant was Nyt in Tromsø, where I had a reindeer burger; it sounds crazy, but it was actually really good! If you visit, don’t miss No Problem Sportfishing out of Svolvær; I saw orcas, traveled across the fjords, watched the midnight sun stay up until 2 am, and caught massive coalfish and cod. In Bergen, you have to hike the Seven Mountains; it’s a rite of passage. Also take the tram up Mount Fløyen to meet the very friendly goats!
