I found many safe places to eat while managing peanut, tree nut, milk, egg, and chickpea allergies, and being vegan. One of my favorite places to eat was Anixi Mediterranean Vegan Restaurant where I got a tofu mushroom Kabob. If you travel there a must-do activity is to grab bagels and walk around the Upper East Side to admire the brownstones, then make your way to Central Park and have a picnic.
