“Verge Sushi in Greenpoint has everything you want in a sushi restaurant and more. Their Soul Mate Authentic Roll cannot be skipped and tastes just as good as it looks. The staff handled all my allergies with so much ease. They were so knowledgeable about the ingredients of each dish and were willing to make any modifications for my restrictions. The fish was SO good and everything was so filling.
With my allergies, I shared the House Salad, Blistered Shishito Peppers, Kona Kampachi, Salmon Avocado Maki Roll, and the Soul Mate Authentic Roll. Can’t wait to go back and try more! (P.S. for all the gluten-free/wheat-free people, they do have tamari available!)
Some of the modifications made for my allergies: extra tuna instead of the beet crunch on the Soul Mate Authentic Roll, kitchen rice used instead of preseasoned sushi, and tamari instead of signature sauces to accompany each dish.”
