Hi! I’m Sarah, and I recently traveled through Italy with my family, visiting Milan, Venice, and Rome. We manage celiac disease along with tree nut and egg allergies, and Italy did not disappoint! We found so many amazing places to eat and had some truly memorable meals along the way. Our favorite was Las Soffitta Renovatio, just a short walk from the Vatican. Their focaccia was so good we kept ordering more. The service was outstanding, and they were fantastic at accommodating us. Our Equal Eats cards were incredibly helpful and made it so much easier to clearly communicate our allergies in Italian. Between the pasta, pizza, gelato, and incredible sightseeing, Italy was such an amazing family trip—and eating well was definitely a highlight! Hi! I'm Jamie and my family recently traveled to Italy and Switzerland for a family vacation. We visited Rome, Florence, Como and Lugano and found many safe places to eat while managing my daughter's peanut and tree nut allergies. One of our favorite places to eat was Amorino in Florence because it was my daughter Chloe's first real Italian gelato experience and we based it on the reivews from the Spokin app! If you travel there a must-do activity in Rome is the sunset golf cart tour on the Viator app and in Como, the guided sailboat private tour. Hi! I’m Christina and I recently traveled to Italy, Croatia, and Poland to visit family and spend time with friends! I found many safe places to eat while managing celiac. One of my favorite places to eat was Zapiekane Gluten-Free Bistro in Krakow, Poland where I got gluten-free pierogi and Zapiekanka, a traditional Polish street food. I went back for a pierogi everyday, the owner was so kind. If you travel there a must-do activity is visiting the Wawel Royal Castle and explore the area Kazimierz for fun nightlife and artsy vibes.
