Portland is the most Celiac-friendly city in the United States with over 20+ dedicated gluten free spots! San Antonio Allergy-Friendly Travel Itinerary
Hi, y’all! I’m Jenna Urben, and I’m a 28 year old food blogger from Dallas, TX. In addition to being allergic to Penicillin, I developed an egg allergy in high school and lactose intolerance in college. Due to my food allergies and intolerances, I cut egg and dairy completely out of my lifestyle. A few times every year, I head down to San Antonio to spend time with my family. I love exploring the outdoor historical spots and discovering new bars and restaurants! Some of my favorite places from the trip were Pharm Table, a local restaurant featuring plant-forward and gluten-free organic options and Down on Grayson, a Modern-American restaurant with fresh and fun cocktails and mocktails. Seaside Allergy-Friendly Travel Itinerary
Hey, Holly here from the Killer Food Allergies podcast and guess what? WE FINALLY WENT ON A FAMILY VACATION! After more than a year of cancelled plans, we loaded up the car and headed off for a fun-filled week on the beach in the Seaside area, on the Gulf Coast side of Florida. It was a great trip, with perfect weather and an itinerary packed with activities. Throughout the week, we ate at many restaurants and had great luck with being well received where our allergy issues are concerned. Water Color main stay, The Wine Bar, even had Divvies available in their market. Special shout out to Cafe 20—amazing food and it’s helpful that the chef is allergic to tree nuts!
