Byron Hamburgers

“This place is amazing! The online allergen menu was so helpful and allowed me to see if any items were safe for my kids! My kids were able to safely enjoy kids’ mini cheeseburgers and fries. Our waitress was great and extremely helpful. She wrote down every allergen and even got us a brand new ketchup bottle to use! Great food and service! A must if you’re in London!
Update…we also went to the one in Westfield Shepard’s Bush and they were also fantastic! The manager took our orders and ensured my kids had a safe meal! Love this place and super yummy too!
The one in Canary Wharf was amazing too!”

“An amazing meal! I noted my son’s allergens when making the reservation, and the staff had already assessed what items would work and what wouldn’t when we arrived. It was a rare treat to be able to enjoy restaurant sourdough bread with wheat, egg, sesame (and more) allergies. We normally keep things very simple when dining out (e.g., meat and a veggie) due to the number of allergies my son juggles, but there were many options, including appetizers and sides that worked for him, and we were comfortable ordering. A truly memorable experience!”

The Langham, London

The Langham, London

“We had the most magical tea time experience at the Palm Court in The Langham. This place is phenomenal and utterly gorgeous! Karina, the director of food and beverage, was absolutely wonderful! I was emailing her the details of my kids’ allergies, and she was able to accommodate us. The food was simply amazing, and my kids were able to safely enjoy their first British tea experience, complete with scones! Highly recommend this place! When we return to London, I will definitely be visiting The Langham again! Bravo to superior service!”

Din Tai Fung Covent Garden

Din Tai Fung Covent Garden

“This is one of my family’s favorite restaurants — the food is always delicious, and they are great with allergies! All the servers are knowledgeable about the menu, and the first thing they ask is if there are any allergies/dietary restrictions. The server even asked if cross-contamination was an issue. The menu is well-labeled, too!”

Hobson’s Fish & Chips Charing Cross

“My son was able to enjoy his first fish and chips (with a side of onion rings)! They cook the gluten-free options in a separate fryer. The chef did a great job identifying ingredients and making us comfortable with ordering.”

Hawksmoor Air Street

Hawksmoor Air Street

“My son enjoyed a safe traditional Sunday Roast meal (everything but the Yorkshire pudding)! It was a great meal, and the staff were very proactive. We emailed ahead of time and were told they could accommodate his multiple allergies in advance. Upon arrival, we spoke with a manager who directly spoke with the lead chef and reconfirmed. They did note his allergens were present in the kitchen, but that they would prep his meal in a separate area. Great experience!

Went back for a second meal on the same trip. The waiter was great and very helpful navigating the menu. My son was able to have scallops (modified to remove gluten), a steak, and French fries. He was very happy with his meal!”

Mildreds Soho

“Mildreds Soho (Vegan and Vegetarian Restaurant) Delicious vegan food—super popular among all my non-vegan friends. They use a fair amount of nuts but can customize many things and are aware of allergies for sure.”

Côte Hay’s Galleria

“The online menu is labeled for top 14. They also did a great job handling allergies beyond the top 14. The staff carry tablets that list all the ingredients of each dish. They brought the food out for the kids with allergy labels on it. Both kids had steak and fries. One kid had broccoli. The other had salad. They had raspberry sorbet for dessert. Delicious food in a very safe environment. Made for a special night out along the Thames!”

Nando’s St Christopher’s Place

“I also went to Nandos for a dine-in experience with a friend during my stay in London. Before we even sat down they asked if we had any allergies. I was hoping to order some chips, which she confirmed would be okay after looking at my allergy card. She said to speak to the front counter when I wanted to order instead of using the QR code at the table. Looking at the menu, it also said to order at the till if you have any allergies so you could speak to a manager. When I ordered at the front, they added my allergies to the order so the chefs would know. The chips came out with an allergy flag on it which was so reassuring to see. My friend also bought a bowl to chips so seeing the flag to differentiate the meals was so great!”

Scott’s

“I had my birthday dinner here and they made it so special! It was definitely a busy place, so I made sure to reiterate my allergies because they served us bread that I was not able to eat, but I don’t eat bread at restaurants usually, so it was fine. Aside from that, the meal was great, and I even had sorbet for a birthday dessert.”

“This might be my favorite restaurant I’ve ever dined at. They have the most exceptional seafood. They were amazing with accommodating my food allergies, and I was able to order dishes off their main menu that they could modify to make without all allergens. They also put allergy stickers on our plates, labeling that specific allergens were not present in our food when served to us. I cannot recommend this place enough if you want a special dinner, and the West End area is a super fun atmosphere.”
