Aloha Isle

“The best spot for Dole Whip in Disney! All gluten-free and nut-free! They do have vanilla Dole Whip here, which is not dairy-free. They also have the vegan sorbet flavors (mango and pineapple). I love getting it mixed!”

The Greenery Creamery

The Greenery Creamery

“This is by far my favorite ice cream place to visit! Not only are half of their ice creams non-dairy, but their baked goods, cakes, and milkshakes are, too! They are very proactive about allergies, and their flavors are BEYOND creative and delicious. I never feel left out here.”

Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

“We were in Orlando, and the kids wanted ice cream. We called ahead, and the manager was very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. They have a clear protocol and strive to make everyone with food allergies feel safe. Highly recommend!”

Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream

Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream

“Super allergy-friendly! They have a list on the menu with headings of soy, egg, gluten, tree nut, and peanut, and under each is a list of all the flavors that contain those allergens! They also have dairy-free options, including cones! However, they are very upfront about the chance of cross-contamination because these allergens are in their facility. The ice cream is great, and they have fun flavors! Highly recommend.”

Tamu Tamu Refreshments

“Of course, no Disney day is complete without a Dole Whip—pictured is the classic pineapple/vanilla swirl Dole Whips floating in pineapple juice. All Dole Whips are nut-free and absolutely delicious! Note that the price varies by location.

The classic pineapple float at Aloha Isle (Magic Kingdom), with pineapple/vanilla swirl, was $6.99; while the classic pineapple float at Tamu Tamu Refreshments was $5.99.”

Haagen-Dazs

“Asked to get a waffle cone and toppings for ice cream I had from somewhere else, and they had no problem. Best cone that is vegan, and the employee double-checked for me with no problem.”

Twistee Treat

“Twistee Treat has always been one of my favorite ice cream spots since I was little! They are peanut allergy-friendly—you just have to notify them when you order, and they make sure they take every precaution necessary. They open a new bag of spoons, napkins, sprinkles, cups, etc., as well as using a new top for the ice cream. The staff has always been super friendly and understanding.”

Salt & Straw

Salt & Straw

“This was one of the BEST ice cream experiences ever! Katie, Genesis and their team lead, Jeremy, were beyond accommodating. Since I am only allergic to peanuts, this experience was somewhat of a breeze due to them only having tree nuts present during this time due to their limited-edition menu having tree nut flavors. However, they let me look at the allergy binder, wore new gloves, got a new and unopened container, and new spoon/cups for both my boyfriend and I. They also told me that when they do have peanut flavors the factory makes them on a separate line and cleans out their equipment thoroughly and does tests in between to ensure no cross-contamination. We got the Salty Donut Guava and Cheese, and the Cinnamon Snickerdoodle. It was phenomenal and such a special experience.”

Jeremiah’s Italian Ice of Hunter’s Creek

“Great place, and they take every precaution necessary if you state you have an allergy before you order.”

Sampaguita Ice Cream

Sampaguita Ice Cream

“Cute little ice cream shop with Filipino flavors. I alerted the staff of my kids’ food allergies. They made sure everything was safe for them to eat. My son had an Ube soft serve made from oat milk, and my daughter had a scoop of Buko Pandan. We always stop by when we’re in the area.”
