Peanut, Tree Nut, and Gluten-Free Denmark, Norway & Sweden Top Picks
Hi! I’m Elise and I recently traveled to Scandinavia! I was able to find many spots to safely eat while managing celiac and peanut and tree nut allergies. I am excited to share my favorite finds and one of my absolute favorites was Haralds Vaffel in Oslo, where I safely had a traditional Norwegian waffle with brunost! If you travel in Scandinavia, I recommend traveling by train, it’s so easy and comes with phenomenal scenery (especially in Norway!) Amsterdam, Copenhagen, and Sweden Allergy-Friendly Travel Itinerary
Hello! My name is Izzy and I spent a week traveling to Amsterdam and Copenhagen and 2 weeks studying at Lund University in Sweden! I found so many great spots that accommodated my tree nut, sesame, and salmon allergies. Some of my favorite spots from the trip were Impero Romano, Foodhallen, and Gastro None. We visited lots of restaurants but also spent time sightseeing at the Anne Frank House, took a wine and cheese tour of the Canal Copenhagen, and explored the botanical gardens in Lund!
