Bak sandwich og salatbar

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark

“WOW. This place had amazing reviews online and I saw that they had gluten free bread so I went to find out what my options were. They had the most amazing fresh, gluten free bread that was just as big as the gluten-full bread. I got the tuna salad sandwich with capers and onions and the staff was able to tell me all of the ingredients in it to ensure it was okay to eat (gluten-free and dairy-free). I would absolutely make this a top spot on your list for a quick to-go lunch and I guarantee that you’ll be shocked at the quality and taste!!”

“Everything here is homemade and it’s really small so everyone who works here knows what’s in everything. Even though i’m not allergic to peanut butter, the woman working insisted she read the label on the peanut butter and it actually said may contain other nuts. She asked if I was anaphylactic and told me not to eat it. I was so impressed with her knowledge and happy that she thought to read the back of peanut butter, because in the US none say may contain tree nuts. Amazing staff amazing food!!! “

The staff there was so friendly and the ambiance is also incredible as you can sit outside at a table along the canal. All I can say is that I wish this place was closer to home 🙂 “

Scandic Kødbyen

Scandic Kødbyen

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark

“This hotel is close to a grocery store, has very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and there is a restaurant called Mor that is safe for dinner (and plenty of other restaurants nearby). The only two issues was that there was nothing safe to eat in the breakfast buffet (which wasn’t very appealing and was super crowded) and the hotel was in the meat packing district next to a night club. DO NOT stay here on a Friday or Saturday night unless you want to stay up until 4am. Otherwise, it would have been fine! We were in and out so quickly, but couldn’t sleep. “

“Cool Brazilian tapioca cafe in Nørrebro neighborhood! All of their tapiocas are GF and come with a side salad. The salads are already prepared and the host walked me through which ones would be safe for me to eat! There was a bit of a language barrier in English, so would recommend bringing a Danish (or Portuguese) allergy translation card. Overall, I really appreciated how attentive they were to my questions and allergies, and had a delicious meal! Menu is labeled with GF/DF/veg, would not recommend for dairy allergy as it is a small kitchen.”
