Tommy Bahama Restaurant, Bar & Store

“I wrote a review ages ago and finally got to go back! We started with the chips and salsa and guacamole, which is always a crowd pleaser. I got the coconut shrimp again (because I always do!! It’s just that good), with a side of fries and broccoli. The fries were fried in canola oil. We ended the night with a slice of key lime pie and I would share my picture but the only one I was able to snag was after my grandma demolished cutting the slice into pieces—it was absolutely delicious anyway!!”

Bar Tulia

“Great service, and even better food! If you’re ever in Naples, I would recommend coming here, or one of its sister restaurants: Tulia and The French.”

Hob Nob

“My first time dining at Hob Nob and I’ll definitely be back. The menu listed which items were gluten-free, and I told the waitress I was also allergic to tree nuts and I wanted to order the mahi mahi. She told me that was the cleanest dish to order with absolutely zero chance of cross contact. Meal was delicious!!”

Van Van Cuban Cafe

“We ate here for dinner and it was amazing. I spoke with our waiter and he said they don’t use nuts in the kitchen and assured us that they could make a safe meal for my food allergic kiddo. This was legit some of the best Cuban food we had. My daughter had bites from our food and I’ve never seen her try so much. Highly recommend the ropa vieja and pollo la cubana.”

True Food Kitchen

“Always many options for my allergies! They also are willing to remove allergen items if possible, and also make substitutions. I had a salmon without the sauce since it had egg in it. I also really love the burger with no bun, and lettuce instead!”

Shula’s Steak House

“We ate here for breakfast since it’s attached to our hotel. The waitress was very helpful with our order and told us only two things had nuts, one of which was their house made granola and the other were some pastries. My daughter safely ate pancakes and bacon from here. Everyone was friendly and she made sure she noted her allergy and told the chef. Overall a great experience and so convenient to have a safe option!”

Turco Taco

Joey D’s Italian Restaurant

“This spot was great! I got the eggplant Parmesan with angel hair, and it came with a side salad and they served the table pizza bread with the meal. My friend tried the Joey D special, which the restaurant sends a portion of its proceeds to a charity protecting against drunk drivers. There were no nuts in any of the items I ordered and the waitstaff was so kind and accommodating anyway! It was a nice experience and I would go again for an easy Italian meal.”

The Turtle Club Restaurant

“Wow. This spot has the BEST location with an outdoor restaurant – tables are in the sand! The perfect spot to watch the sunset..The food is really good, very limited nuts. Staff is very educated on food allergies. We had deviled eggs with bacon (yum!), their famous pretzel bread, scallops, and apple pie. You HAVE to make a reservation!”

Juicelation

“I haven’t found a chocolate-banana-nut-butter smoothie that doesn’t have peanut butter, but this shop had a coffee-chocolate-banana-ALMOND-butter smoothie which was honestly so good. They did not have a dedicated blender, but they assured me they would do their best to clean one very well before making my smoothie, although they could not guarantee there would be no cross-contamination. But then again, have I ever been to a smoothie place that hasn’t told me that? If you have found a peanut-free smoothie shop or even one with dedicated blenders please leave a review!”

BrickTop’s

“I’ve had many meals here and always feel safe. Bricktop’s has a dedicated fryer for their french fries. I have shrimp allergy and don’t eat things fried in the same oil.”

The French Brasserie Rustique

“This restaurant was unbelievable with food allergies. I’m tree nut free but have started also avoiding gluten. I informed the waitstaff of my allergies and they were on top of all of the ingredients on the menu. They assured me what i ordered was safe and i was able to even order dessert (which I never feel safe doing so!!). The dessert menu listed which items had nuts and when i asked about gluten the waiter was able to list the items that were made with rice flour instead. HIGHLY recommend!! The food was delicious on top of it all.”

The Bowl

“The entire store is dairy-free! The bases of the açaí bowls are premade, but the bases of the pitaya bowls are customizable. I have sensitivities to some fruits, so it was helpful to be able to customize the base. The staff member taking my order was knowledgeable and able to answer my questions regarding my allergens! The bowl was delicious and I highly recommend trying the cinnamon almond butter if you can!”

Amigo’s Cafe

“A lot of gluten free options as there usually are at authentic Mexican restaurants. They can make pretty much any dish with corn tortillas instead of flour tortillas and they told me that INCLUDED BURRITOS! I got the enchilada and the tostada with corn tortillas and both were delicious. They forgot my flauta when I ordered take out, but I heard from friends they were a must (and they also use corn tortilla). Definitely recommend getting a side order of guacamole—it was so FRESH AND A GENEROUS PORTION! Looked like a fun vibe inside but it was indoor only so once covid settles a bit I will definitely be going back to experience that. I have faith in their margaritas.”

Chops City Grill

“Chops City Grill is a high-end steakhouse option, which also serves sushi and fish. The restaurant was voted best ‘steakhouse’ in Lee and Collier County. While one of the pricier options in downtown Naples, the service, food, and atmosphere will not disappoint. The Ginger Pork Wontons can be made without the cashews, while the Spicy Beef cannot be made nut-free as it is made in a peanut sauce. Be sure to ask your waiter which items can be made nut-free, since this is not stated on the menu.”

Bayside Seafood Grill & Bar

“This is my absolute favorite place in Naples. The staff are the loveliest, most helpful people, and the view upstairs is beautiful. They are very knowledgeable about the menu and have always catered for my nut allergy and gluten intolerance really well. The food is in a class of its own. It’s so fresh and delicious. The Mahi Mahi is my favorite here. Totally recommend this gorgeous restaurant!”

BHA! BHA! Persian Bistro

“Most dishes are gluten free. In fact, even the crispy rice! The waiters were happy to answer questions. Must try; genuinely delicious persian food just as tasty as in Beverly Hills.”

Bone Hook Brewing Company

“The staff at Bone Hook Brewing were really wonderful. They checked all of the menu items with the chef and confirmed that our orders were safe to be shared with our egg allergic daughter. That combined with the size of their menu and the large number of allergy safe options made this a great family meal out!”

Seasons 52

“Seasons 52 in Naples, FL provides an outstanding experience for individuals with severe food allergies. I ordered the rotisserie half chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. The dish was cooked and topped with a lemon-honey glaze that only added to the perfection. The waitstaff seemed knowledgeable about cross-contact and the importance of clean utensils, surface, and grill. Head Chef Kyle visited our table to ensure our comfort and inform us on the protocol being taken in the kitchen to deliver a safe meal. Our server, Paris, was also on top of everything throughout the meal. She advocated on my behalf and was proactive about discussing my allergies with the kitchen staff. Substitutions for the rice pilaf to the mashed potatoes were seamless and easy. I felt incredibly safe dining here and they even made an allergy-safe mocktail for me from scratch. I highly recommend any beverage that includes their homemade lemonade. I could not have been more impressed with the high quality service and consistency of care at this restaurant. If you find yourself in Naples, you NEED to head to Seasons 52!”
