Hoptinger Bier Garden & Sausage House

“Fun rooftop bar in the Riverside/Five Points area! They had cider in a can as an option that I went with because it was guaranteed safe.”

BENTO Jacksonville Town Center

“Been going here for years! Never have a problem with nuts (the menu is clear and nuts are primarily in their noodle bowls/woks). To be safe, I usually get poke or sushi!”

DOMU

“Domu has a vegan option! I called the restaurant to verify it was also peanut and tree nut-free, which they confirmed. My daughter has never had ramen so she was a little iffy about it, but I thought it was amazing. It usually takes her a couple of times eating something to really appreciate it. We will be going back and they are on Uber eats! Double bonus!”

Foo Dog Curry Traders

“100% gluten-free kitchen! You can literally order anything as a celiac here and be safe, and it’s so delicious!”

Bono’s Pit Bar-B-Q

“I love Bono’s and have been eating here my entire life! No nuts that I can see on the menu and no shellfish. We ordered from them and got take-out (per pandemic). Regardless of the safe menu, we told them about my allergy and they were receptive and understanding, and my meal was safe for me! I love their brisket and turkey and mac-n-cheese! Also, the to-go bbq sauces are packaged with full ingredients, and so I confirmed they were free of shellfish, fish, and nuts! (One does contain mustard seed.).”

“Super easy to eat gluten-free here! The waitstaff is very helpful, and they even offered gluten-free fried fish in a dedicated fryer! I’d recommend their fish boil, it was delicious.”
