Milk Run Premium Ice Cream & Boba
“Great ice cream and boba tea spot! Super knowledgeable about allergies, and I didn’t see any nuts on the menu. My kids wanted to try boba, and they were extremely careful with my daughter’s allergy.”

Zoyo Neighborhood Yogurt
“Great frozen yogurt! Allergens are labeled on individual frozen yogurt selections, but we called before going, and their chocolate and vanilla are dedicated lines that are never cross-contaminated. Obviously, the toppings bar is a no-go for those with peanut or tree nut allergies, but you can always bring your own!”

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams
“Another amazing experience with this ice cream company. I am super careful about where I get my ice cream from because there is so much dairy around. When I was at this location, they did not have a new bin, so they let me purchase a pint instead. I really appreciated the honesty from the team and how conscious they were about my allergies.”

PussyCat Gelato
“This place had 6 vegan, nut-free sorbets, including chocolate. They did have one nut gelato, but all options have their own scooper.”

Scoop and Joy
“I asked them to use a clean scoop for my ice cream, and the high school student working there asked if I wanted a scoop from a fresh container. I appreciated the extra efforts and safety measures. The store was clean and well-kept.”

Sweet Republic
“Six dairy-free flavor options! All kept in a separate case from the rest of the dairy-containing flavors, and with their own dedicated dairy-free scoops. Nuts are present, so I usually don’t get toppings to avoid cross-contamination. I love the coconut flavor, the chocolate, and the basil lime!”

Mahalo Made
“This is a Hawaiian shaved ice/ice cream shop! I talked to the owner, and everything is homemade. The only ice cream they have is vanilla. There are only four shaved ice syrups, all of which are fruit-based, and ice cream is completely nut-free. They could have a nut topping for a seasonal flavor, but this can be totally avoided. You can just do shaved ice and avoid the sweet and condensed milk topping if avoiding dairy. Everything is completely safe for a nut allergy! It’s also amazing!”

Nami
“This was my first time having a safe version of a DQ Blizzard—in the form of a Nami tSoynami! Their soft serve comes out of its own machine and is a coconut-soy base! They have food allergy protocols and used clean equipment to stir my toppings of choice (which they got out of fresh containers) into the soft serve. I found out about Nami from a fellow Spokin ambassador and was so excited to be able to try it!”

Stella’s Ice Cream
“Staff was super educated on products! We are a celiac and dairy free house hold- the dairy free items are displayed clearly and staff was knowledgeable about gluten free items. They changed the scoop and their gloves for us. They also have gluten free cones that are made before the cones with gluten!”
