“Before they say hello, they ask if you have a food allergy they should know about! We were able to get vanilla in a cone. Be your own advocate and ask questions! While my son doesn’t have an allergy to nuts, I wanted to make sure it didn’t contain nuts, but I was not comfortable for myself with the cross-contamination. They did have a peanut butter ice cream, but went and opened a fresh vanilla and used a cleaned scoop for his ice cream. I did almost walk out until I heard the guy ask another customer if they had allergies.”
