CALIFORNIA

Goofy’s Kitchen

Location: Anaheim, Florida
“The chef walks the buffet with us to identify safe foods. Our daughter was able to eat the pizza, chicken strips, fries, fruit, and more. She also ate the soft serve in a cup (I do not remember if the cones were safe). They offered to bring items from the back to avoid the possibility of contamination. We eat here each trip without issues!”

FLORIDA

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café

Location: Orlando, Florida
“Cosmic Ray’s now has a dedicated allergy kitchen and allergy chefs who are trained on cross-contamination and they change gloves…the whole shebang! You tell them you have an allergy at the order station and they call someone over to assist you and go through the allergy binder with you. I am allergic to shellfish and fish but they don’t have any kind of seafood items here. So I was good to order from the regular menu. My son, who’s allergic to peanuts and tree nuts, was also able to order off the regular menu. The only nuts they have are Uncrustables they sell. My other son, who’s allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, egg, dairy, and tomato, ordered chicken nuggets and french fries.”

Washington No7

Location: Norwood, Massachusetts

“New spot in Norwood that has a pretty basic menu (burgers, pizza, etc.) but everything we tried was really good. Waitress asked about allergies when we sat down and made me feel super safe. No nuts in the fryer. There was a group of us, we split chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, and the chicken sandwich (which was HUGE and basically was 2 separate sandwiches)! Heard the burgers were also amazing.”
