DAY 1

Lunch: Cafe 20
We found the unicorn! We weren’t happy to hear it, but it’s helpful that the chef has severe nut allergies! Zero peanuts or tree nuts in the kitchen and an entire staff that wants to hear all about your allergies. We all felt safe and had a great meal!

Dinner: Grayton Seafood
The best! Who would have thought a seafood restaurant would be our best found treasure? We had the good fortune of getting to chat with the restaurants owner. He spoke directly with my kids about all their allergen safeguards. Dedicated prep area, just one item on the menu with pecans, swapping of gloves, review of ingredients and Sammy’s dish was delivered with a gloved hand by the chef. Just over the top care and attention!
DAY 2

Lunch: The Wine Bar – Watercolor
Filled with allergens, but we had an attentive, helpful server. She took time to understand all the allergens and pointed us in the right direction within the menu. The best part was their market! The wait for a table was long so we went in search of some pre-dinner snacks and found Divvies!

Dinner: Cowgirl Kitchen
This restaurant is filled with all the allergens but the same lovely server, who has been there for 10 years, takes her time to learn about your allergies and communicates everything with the kitchen. She makes sure nut allergic guests steer clear of the nut filled salad section and that her chef changes gloves when preparing for a food allergy guess. Bonus: no sesame seeds on their hamburger buns!
DAY 3

Lunch: Meltdown on 30A
This is an awesome Airstream food truck on 30A outside the Seaside Store. Not entirely free from, but worked for my daughter. No a single peanut or tree nut in their truck, and no seafood or sesame. Just yummy grilled cheese on thick Texas Toast with an ice cold pink lemonade on the side!
