Olio e Più
“The staff are very nice here and this is a fun spot to go to with a group of friends!
I have been twice and have had no issues with peanuts. I had ricotta toast, carbonara pasta, white pizza with prosciutto, diavola pizza, and very delicious cocktails!”
BONDST
“I got: tuna tort with truffle oil, crispy rice with crab, spicy tuna roll, short rib gyoza, and bread pudding.
The food here was absolutely delectable. The staff informed me multiple times that they do not have peanuts or peanut oil in what I was ordering nor barely in the restaurant. Everything was really great quality! Highly reccommend ”
Misi
“Misi is a super hard reservation to get in Brooklyn!
It was so worth it though. I had ricotta toast (what they’re known for), sheep’s milk ricotta, tortellini filled with spinach and cheese, and fresh mint chocolate chip gelato
*also it is super fun to sit at the bar because you see the chefs cooking everything right in front of you.”
Massara
“I ate: Nutmeg cracker with Parmesan cheese (complimentary to chef), Margarita pizzette (was absolutely delicious. Thin slice with a puffy crust and fresh sauce and cheese), Mixed pasta dish (was my favorite — little kick of spicy and the pasta was cooked perfectly), Cavatelle (also delicious and very refreshing and light tasting), Cheesemakers raviolini (definitely reccommend the cheese inside was yummy and fresh), caesar salad (comes loaded with fresh Parmesan cheese), and Affogato dessert (salted caramel ice cream with espresso in the middle). They do not have peanuts in the kitchen which was great!”
Lilia
“All the food here was great and there were no issues with peanuts. It is a little spot in Brooklyn that is definitely worth it if you’re in the area! I had: 3 different pastas: 1 ravioli, 1 lemon spaghetti with pine nuts, and 1 pasta with white sauce and chili flakes, and a side of broccoli rabe.”
Breakfast by Salt’s Cure
“I ate a breakfast special with oatmeal pancakes, eggs, and chicken sausage patties. We also all shared potatoes which were a great addition. These were the most incredible pancakes I’ve had and the wait is absolutely worth the wait. There were no peanuts and the staff were helpful and educated.”
San Sabino
“At this restaurant I was at a big group dinner but the waitstaff was very helpful in ensuring that everything would be peanut free. We got: tuna arancini, crab dip, endive salad, lobster in white sauce pasta, linguini alla vongole, shrimp Parmesan, seafood pasta, and all three desserts on the menu: chocolate dessert with toffee, pineapple ice cream with pignoli cookies, key lime pie crepes.
*only some items are pictured but everything was peanut free and very tasty.”
JG Melon
“I got the classic cheeseburger here and French fries.
This is a very traditional old restaurant that only takes cash. The cheeseburger was amazing, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is fun. They do not use peanut oil here.”
The Donut Pub
“This is a great donut spot in NY! They are safe about peanuts. ”
Bryant Park Winter Village
“I’ve been to the Bryant Park Winter Village many times and the food and atmosphere are always very fun. This year I got: truffle French fries — no peanut oil, baguette with fresh melted cheese and cornichons, Stroopwaffles— didn’t have any with nuts on the day I went, but important to check, hot chocolate, and pastel de nata (place right next to the baguette stand). Everything was delicious!! Make sure to communicate your allergy to the staff and they will be very helpful.”
Mamo
“I had:
1. Eggplant caponata with salami and bread (complimentary) – not pictured
2. Burrata to start (was extremely fresh and delicious)
3. Amatricana pasta (spicy red sauce)
4. Short rib pappardelle
5. Ice cream sundae – not pictured
* the waiters were educated about my peanut allergy and checked with the chef to make sure everything was peanut free
*this is also a super fun restaurant to go to especially for a birthday they have big sparklers and all the waitstaff sings!”
Popup Bagels
“Popup bagels is always a great spot to go to early in the morning. The line goes by very fast and the bagels are one of the best in New York! Just be sure to eat them right when they come out of the oven. I have been here many times and have never had an issue with peanuts.”
Masseria East
“I got the linguine alla vongole and a pesto pasta (no peanuts only pine nuts). Also got the Tiramisu which was one of the best I’ve had
Everything was delectable! And the staff were very friendly ”
Apollo Bagels
“I got the bagel with lox and cream cheese bagel and the whitefish salad with jalepenos bagel. The bagels were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The white fish salad was definitely spicier than expected, but everything was delicious and the waitstaff were very nice about my peanut allergy.”
Bagelworks
“This is a go-to bagel spot. It is always delicious and never fails to hit the spot. I have gotten all different types of bagels or goodies here: bagel with lox and cream cheese, corn muffin, coffees, and bagel with egg hash brown and cheese.
*it is a very fast paced and crowded environment so be ready to give your order!”
