Brooke’s Nut-Free New York City Favorites

Hi! I’m Brooke, and I’m so excited to share my favorite New York City spots that have been safe for my allergies to peanuts & tree nuts. For classic NYC food, I love Bagel Street to get a perfectly fluffy bagel. One of my must-go-to restaurants is Misi and I recommend ordering the ricotta toast & any of the pastas. They are all amazing! For sightseeing and activities, my favorites include walking around the many parks in NY, seeing Broadway shows, going to workout classes, and trying new cocktail bars. “Great sushi! Minimal if any nuts

Was super fun to share a bunch of rolls”

4 Charles Prime Rib

“Probably one of the most exclusive restaurants in NYC

I think the whole menu might have been nut free. Half the desserts are homemade and those are nut free—recommend the chocolate cream pie! This is overall an amazing dining experience so I would be surprised if they were bad about allergies at this price range. I personally liked the burger way more than the prime rib but I prefer leaner meat. Shrimp scampi and mushrooms are beyond underrated.”

“New Murray Hill neighborhood spot! Food was amazing, will be back. Standouts were the garlic hummus and scallops. Tree nuts on the menu, but felt very safe eating here ”

“My go-to lunch at work daily! Their paninis and salads are my favorite but they have every cuisine you could want. Busy lunch hours is very hustle bustle energy so I recommend ordering ahead of time online ”

“All you can eat Omakase!! Super reasonably priced

Fish quality was really good, so was the miso soup and dessert!

Go hungry!!! ”

Hummus Kitchen

“A Murray Hill classic – love their hummus & mains. Also pretty casual and decently large menu.”

“Food is absolutely amazing it is IMPOSSIBLE TO get a reservation. I went for lunch and it was still great. Definitely recommend the famous lasagna. Tiramisu was fully nut-free and a fun twist on regular tiramisu A bunch of the salads have nuts so we ordered one that didn’t. Chrysanthemum salad was amazing. Japanese sweet potatoes were also a standout ”
