Every time I go to Del Taco, I get the Queso-Loaded nachos, which are amazing! All locations are peanut and tree-nut-free. They have an allergen menu that states this, as well as a notice that their Beyond Meat contains pea protein, which may be a sensitivity for those with legume allergies. I love that they went the extra mile to include this!

“I really enjoyed eating at this upscale vegan restaurant last weekend. We got the margarita pitcher, esquites, gorditas, nachos, and flautas and enjoyed everything. It’s definitely pricey, but I appreciated how attentive the waitstaff was and that they ask up front if anyone in your party has allergies when ordering. I felt really safe eating here and would definitely come again.”

“Haven’t gone for food in about a year but went again last night for drinks. Last year we’d always get the totchos (tater tot nachos) which made everyone very happy! The Hell or High Watermelon beer is fantastic (*note: it is a wheat beer) and served with a fresh slice of watermelon! It is right next to AT&T park, and a perfect spot to stop for snacks or a drink if you’re on your way to a game.”

C CASA San Ramon
Location: San Ramon, California
“Dedicated gluten-free taco shop in San Ramon with locations throughout the Bay Area! The food is also completely free of nuts! They do have one dessert item (a brownie) that may or may not have contained nuts – the staff was very educated about menu items, but weren’t sure if the brownie contained tree nuts or was just labeled as may contain tree nuts. Either way, I avoided, but the brownie is kept at the front by the cashier and all other food is made in the kitchen, so I felt completely comfortable! The rotisserie chicken tacos are amazing, as well as the nachos and quesadillas, but everything on the menu always looks delicious! Everything is so fresh and “healthified”, which I love!”

“So many firsts here!! I had nachos, a milkshake, and mashed potatoes for the first time. They have separate blenders for allergy milkshakes since they have the peanut flavor in the other blender. This place is amazing and the manager came out—she was so knowledgeable and kind. The nachos were only my appetizer, though. I had a lentil loaf with gravy (kind of like meatloaf—the whole restaurant is vegan) that comes with garlic potatoes. I could have mashed potatoes here so of course I ordered them!! Mashed potatoes are so good!! Nachos are so good!! I love strawberry milkshakes!!”

“We have eaten here a few times and there are several safe options for our daughter. They have multiple food items on the menu that are vegan. This is one place where there are at least 3-4 safe options for punkin. One of those safe options is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, so that is worth noting for those with peanut allergies. The staff seems well educated (they know she can’t have a brioche bun for her burger and that the fries go in a communal fryer with dairy). The menu lists which items (from the main course to the sides) are vegan. Last night they even had vegan nachos with an incredible melty vegan cheese!”
