1. Provisions
“They handled my allergies very well and were very accommodating with my sandwich. I highly recommend getting something to eat from here. The staff was amazing!”

2. B-ACK Yard BBQ
“This restaurant is nut-free. They do have coconut in some of their drinks though. The food is out of this world delicious and is some of the best bbq that I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the kielbasa and burnt ends!”

3. Something Natural
“Picked up a sandwich from Something Natural today. They have a spot online to add in allergies before placing your order. The person on the phone let me know that the French bread is nut/dairy-free. When they get an allergy order, they wash their hands, use fresh gloves, fresh knife, and a board to prepare. Highly recommend!”

4. The Rose and Crown
“Menu is marked with gluten-free conscious items. They were willing to accommodate my food allergies and seemed relatively allergy aware. They fry in soybean oil and there’s no nuts in the fryer but there is cross contamination for dairy.”

5. The Club Car
“My boyfriend and I dined here for dinner tonight and it was very delicious! We started with the fried eggplant bites which were served with chimichurri aioli and the 24 oz ribeye. The fried eggplant was to die for! Unfortunately, they did not have any potatoes that were safe for me, so they put the mashed potatoes on the side for my boyfriend. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Nantucket!”

7. Ventuno Restaurant
“The ciabatta bread here was nut & dairy-free! It was delicious and we ordered a few orders of it. I ordered the steak and it was slightly modified due to my allergies, but it was really delicious! Highly recommend!”

9. Galley Beach
“This is one of my favorite restaurants in Nantucket! Make sure to make a reservation to get a table on the beach, if you can. While they are closed for the season, they are always very accommodating with food allergies! Excited to go back here this summer.”

11. Island Kitchen
“This restaurant was so delicious and they were very accommodating of my food allergies! I ordered the tenderloin medallions and they were served with sautéed onions and peppers, roasted fingerling potatoes, and aioli. Not only was it very delicious, but it was also very reasonably priced! Highly recommend!”

TREAT

1. Jack + Charlie’s Ice Cream
“Super cute spot right near the HiLine! They have sorbet as a dairy-free option so not super extensive but it’s something. I went here to get coffee and they had oat milk and almond milk. They were in pour yourself containers with regular milks so if that’s not your jam, definitely ask for the original container, etc. They also had dairy-free coffee flavoring!”

2. The Juice Bar
“The BEST ice cream on island. They have juice, smoothies + ice cream. They have dairy-free sorbet and they use clean scoop, do a glove change, etc. Highly recommend!! Plus it’s close to the ferries.”
