Allergen Menu

ladle+and+leaf.png

Ladle + Leaf

Location: San Francisco, CA

The online menu gives the top 8 allergen warnings, which is very helpful! I have never had a problem here, but I stick to the soups and pre-packaged sandwiches. Nuts are used in the salads, but the salad area and soup area are fairly well separated at most locations I’ve been to. The Mexican Chicken Tortilla and the Grandma Mary’s Chicken Soup are great, and I always like the Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich!”

CJ’s On The Bay

The food here was delicious and they had an allergen menu that told you which foods didn’t contain your allergen for the top 8. This menu was super useful and I hope other restaurants begin to create them as well.”

Condado Tacos

Location: Dublin, OH

They have a whole allergy menu and our waitress had food allergies herself and made sure everything was safe and did not send the food out until everything was okay. My food was sitting in the kitchen and she made them make a new one because there might have been some cross contamination and she was not comfortable bringing it out to me. Best service I ever had at the restaurant! The location in DUBLIN, OHIO is the one to go to. The food was awesome!”

Village Pottery Cafe

Location: Republic, MO

“I called ahead to ask if they could accommodate my son’s allergies, and she assured that they could…The chef herself ended up taking our order. She admitted to me that usually the chili would be diary free, but that morning a tiny bit of potato soup had spilled into the chili. We were very pleased with the attention given to our needs.”

Far Away

Landbageriet

Location: Kobenhavn, Denmark

“Bakery with gluten free and vegan options. No peanuts or hazelnuts used in bakery, the only nut used is almonds (and possibly walnuts). They had all ingredients posted on the display so you can see exactly what is in each item! Gluten free items are separate from items containing wheat, but I believe they are baked in the same bakery.”

Poke Saigon

Location: Vietnam

The poke was delicious and the menu was in English, making it really easy to tell what was and wasn’t gluten free. You choose a rice or salad base, add any toppings you want and then add a sauce. Hands down one of the best poke bowls I’ve ever had!! 😋”

Slappy Cakes

Location: Singapore

“This is a super cool make-your-own pancakes spot. You have a griddle in the center of the table and they give you squeeze bottles with pancake batter. I remember being a bit nervous about eating here, as they have a peanut butter batter option and many nut toppings. The table and griddle were well cleaned (and if I remember correctly we went ahead and wiped it down again just to be safe).

“A lot of rooms in the inn have kitchens, and there is a grocery store on site. Everywhere we go, they are willing to accommodate and are so kind and helpful. For example, at the pool snack shack, my brother mentioned his peanut allergy and they sanitized the whole blender (despite the long line!!)

Osmosis Day Spa Sanctuary

Location: Freestone, California

“There is a form you fill out after you fill out after you make your reservation where they ask you about your allergies. Once I arrived, I spoke with my massage therapist about my nut allergy – as soon as I mentioned it, she mentioned that she had known from the form, and double checked with me to make sure that coconut is okay for me. She then went on to assure me that she read the ingredient labels and that she would only use coconut oil and a nut-free lotion. ”
