MICHIGAN

Zingerman’s Delicatessen

Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan

“Zingerman’s did a fantastic job of accommodating my allergies and making me feel safe eating here. They have a great allergy statement on their website, and the manager came out while I was ordering (regular protocol for all allergy orders!) and ensured my food would be prepared in a sanitized prep area with fresh gloves and served in an red allergy indicator basket. They have everything from sandwiches, salads, soups, to pastries, baguettes and bagels! I safely enjoyed a grilled chicken sandwich and chips for dinner, and came back for a egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a sesame seed bagel the next week! However, they do caution that their bread is “shipped to the facility with other breads contain tree nuts.”

Vegan bakery. Love this place so much. Cute vibe and they have coffees, bagel sandwiches, grab and go items, etc. I order cakes here often for special occasions as well. I’m a loyal customer but will disclose that they’ve definitely been late with finishing my cakes and things like that so just always call to double check prior to picking up!

I never get anything on my bagels somewhere like this but I so appreciated the plain bagel and not to mention they are delicious”

The owner will give you tips on reheating as they freeze right after baking to preserve freshness. The texture is so good. Love that this place isn’t just sweets because it’s so hard finding bagels, baguettes, other breads out there. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area! So glad my daughter could get a safe NYC bagel on our trip!”
