Wheat-Free Paris Top Picks

Hi! I’m Alex and I recently traveled to Paris! I found many safe spots to eat while managing my wheat allergy, and shared them on the Spokin app—they are also all featured in this guide. One of my favorites was Little Nonna, where I had the best pesto burrata gnocchi of my life. One of the great things about Paris is being able to easily explore the city and sights, and I particularly loved touring the Opera! La Manufacture du Sans Gluten

“Small but mighty gluten-free bakery! Hands down the best gluten-free croissants in the city. I wish I could have gone every day. Do not miss this place!!”

Chambelland

“Gluten-free bakery with two locations in Paris. Great for a quick breakfast or lunch with a wide range of bread and some pastries. I personally loved the other dedicated gluten-free bakeries more, but the options here were convenient and reliable and we visited twice!”

Girafe Restaurant

“Beautiful restaurant with a spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower! We went for brunch, but it’s also a great option for dinner to watch it sparkle. They have an allergy matrix menu upon request and our waiter was knowledgeable. They served me fresh and warm gluten-free bread! Highly recommend for a special Paris experience. Reservations needed well in advance!”

Frenchie

“Intimate and incredible upscale restaurant that does a five-course blind tasting menu. They had no issues or hesitation to accommodate my allergy and we were blown away with how delicious every dish was. Such an amazing experience and memorable meal! Reservations are very limited so look to book well in advance!”

Pink Mamma

“The Instagram-famous restaurant lived up to the hype as the decor and different floors are just absolutely gorgeous. They have a great drink menu (with nice mocktails, as well) and a fully allergy-marked menu for food. They unfortunately use wheat straws for the drinks but disclose this clearly on the menu. Reservations needed!”

GROM Montorgueil

“100% gluten-free gelato AND GLUTEN-FREE CONES!! The shop is also on a buzzing walking street full of restaurants and cafes. There are a few locations around the city, but beware that not all have cones. This one is the best choice!”

Little Nonna

“The best gluten-free meal I have ever had in my life. Dedicated gluten-free Italian with a huge menu. The focaccia was so soft, gnocchi was the best I’ve ever had, pizza was perfect with a fluffy yet substantial crust. I’ll be dreaming about it forever!”

Copains Marais

“Not only dedicated gluten-free bakery but also one of the most aesthetically designed bakeries I’ve seen! The chocolate-covered croissants are insane! I loved the pistachio one (on the sweeter side). They also have amazing sandwiches like prosciutto bagels and fresh caprese baguettes. There’s multiple locations around Paris and they’re open a bit later than most of the other bakeries so it’s super convenient. We came here multiple times!”

Judy, Cantine Qualitarienne – Rousseau

“Quaint dedicated gluten-free cafe for a quick pastry and coffee. They did have a small food menu as well during select hours. Super close to the Louvre for a quick rest and refuel!”

Le Pont Traversé

“Wonderful dedicated gluten-free cafe that is under the Noglu ownership! The quiches were outstanding and the almond chocolate croissant was one of my top pastries of the whole trip. Wish we had time to go back!!”

KAPUNKA Cantine Thaï – Montorgueil

“Dedicated gluten-free Thai food! We shared the pad Thai and bao noodle bowl. Both were fantastic.”

Gigi Paris

“Very trendy restaurant for a fun night out! Close to the Eiffel Tower with a small view. No marked menu but the waiter helped me navigate the menu with ease. The truffle mortadella, burrata, and truffle risotto were delicious. My risotto was COVERED in truffles. The restaurant is huge and they have live music as well. Definitely a lively experience.”

ROOF Paris

“Very trendy rooftop restaurant in a hip neighborhood! We came for drinks and an appetizer before dinner. The menu is Japanese-inspired and the waiter was able to help me with what I could have. We got the ceviche and it was so fresh! The cocktails (and mocktails!) are lovely, views are wonderful and the vibe is really cool. Definitely recommend for a fun drink or meal.”
