Guinness Storehouse
“I went here and did the Stoutie Experience section of the tour where you get your face printed on a pint. When you get to the tasting session on the tour, there is a sign telling you to notify the staff of any allergens. I have had Guinness plenty of times so I knew it was safe to drink! It was really cool to be able to do the Stoutie Experience since sometimes having an allergy bars you from doing special things like that. I did not eat at any of the food options at the Storehouse because we had reservations somewhere close after so I am not sure about the menus there.”

BAMBINO
“This is for the Baggot St/Merrion Row location only as the St. Stephen’s St. Lower comes from a different kitchen I absolutely love Bambino’s! It is an NYC-esque pizza place. At this location there are no nuts used in the kitchen and the menu is labeled with the allergy numbers. I always get the cheese pizza which is so good. It is great for a quick bite. It can get really busy due to its popularity & being a viral spot for Dublin.”

Merchant’s Arch
“A popular place right near Trinity College & Temple Bar area. A classic Irish pub with some nuts on the menu but they are labeled with the number for nuts in their allergen key. I’ve safely eaten here a few times.”

The Brazen Head
“In Ireland all menus have to be clearly labeled with a number associated with allergens! I have gotten the fish and chips or the wings here before. This is the oldest pub in Ireland so a must do!”

The Lincoln’s Inn
“There are some nuts on the menu but I have always been fine. I typically would get the fish & chips. Just double check with your server, they’re all very knowledgeable.”

The Duke Dublin
“The Duke is a classic Irish pub that is good for pub food and/or a nice pint. I safely ate here but it is definitely more of a pub vibe than a sit-down place.”

The Merry Ploughboy Gastro Pub
“The Merry Ploughboys & their Irish Night Show is so fun! There is a set menu with allergy information noted and you are able to talk with the server about your allergy. There were no nuts on the menu & I got the chicken option. It’s a bit outside of the city center but such a fun experience for a good night of Irish music & dancing!”

McCaffertys at the Barge
“I have eaten here safely a few times—my flatmates & I highly recommend splitting a bunch of apps. There are some nuts on the menu and the servers will warn about a chance of cross contamination so just take that into account!”

Acapulco Mexican Restaurant
“It’s a good spot if you are in the mood for Mexican food. I have safely eaten here a few times, but I still always mentioned my allergy. Despite it being the law to label all allergens on the menu in Ireland, when I went the menu was not labeled”

Bar Rua
“I safely ate here! There are walnuts in one salad so I stayed away from that. It is right off of Grafton Street.”

The Hairy Lemon
“I LOVE the Hairy Lemon. The servers are very helpful and make you feel safe eating there. It can be a bit hectic if there is a GAA or big football match so the environment can feel a little crazy but fun. It’s a really classic pub and I have never had a bad experience here! Labeled with numbers to dictate allergens in each dish.”

Zambrero Hatch Street
“There are no nuts in any of the main menu items EXCEPT for pine nuts in the basilo sauce which is not indicated on the allergen menu. My go to order was a classic bowl with rice, cheese, tomato salsa, corn salsa, and the onion salsa.”

The Bailey – Cafe and Bar
“I have always eaten safely here, typically getting the fish & chips or wings. The waitstaff changes seasonally so sometimes they are not as familiar with the menu, so make them triple check with the kitchen when placing your order. There are some nuts on the menu.”

Crabby Jo’s – Wrights of Howth
“There are a few nuts on the menu but are all clearly labeled with the allergen key. I safely had the fish and chips. A cute spot in Howth.”

Tesco Express
“There are a lot of familiar US brands but obviously they are the European factory made versions. As a result of this there are some changes in may contain/manufactured with. Tesco was an easy option for stress free shopping although it is a bit pricey.”
