DAY 1
Hotel: Residence Inn by Marriott London Kensington
“This is just an average Marriott but it’s clean, has a kitchen in the room and the breakfast buffet was labeled super well. I just stopped into the buffet to get a coffee so I wasn’t super focused on eating but they had signage for everything (that I could see) which is really helpful! They had oat, almond + soy milk as non-dairy alternatives + Schar gluten-free cereal and gluten-free bread with its own dedicated toaster. It’s also located super close to some beautiful neighborhoods and fun shopping!!”
Lunch: Joe and the Juice
“We had been traveling and walking around all day and I was SO excited to see a Joe and the Juice. It was the perfect pick-me-up to get me through the rest of our day of shopping. My go-to is always the Joe’s Club, which has chicken tomato and avocado AND vegan, nut-free pesto. Must try!”
Coffee: Caffe Nero
“On pretty much every corner in London, there was a Pret a Manger and a Caffe Nero. I feel super comfortable with Caffe Nero in the U.S. and felt great about this one too! The staff was friendly and knowledgable about allergies and was able to make me a safe iced vanilla latte. All of their food was also much better labeled than it is in the U.S. and although I didn’t get anything, I appreciated it!”
Dinner: Sky Lounge
“Had the best first meal here! The Sky Lounge is a beautiful restaurant in the Shangri-La hotel that has floor to ceiling windows and 360° views. Their menu was clearly labeled for allergens with a number for each of the top 14 allergens and the first question the waiter asked was if anyone had any allergies. I got a club and it was so yummy. There was even a safe Panna Cotta on the menu for dessert but I was so full I passed.”
Sightseeing: Kensington Palace
DAY 2
Brunch: Brown & Rosie
“Stumbled upon this place after looking for somewhere to just grab a quick bite while we walked around. Their menu was labeled for allergens but the staff was knowledgeable on what would work and what wouldn’t. I got 2 poached eggs, toast, and bacon, and it was a perfect, safe brunch! It’s small inside (they do have outdoor seating) but really cute!”
Dinner: Stereo Covent Garden
“What a cool spot!! Live music with amazing ambiance!! Safely had the sirloin and we split a garden salad, fries, popcorn, and broccolini. I also got the Stereo Spritz, which was great! Everything was delicious. The staff was very knowledgeable about allergens!”
Drinks: The Savoy Hotel
“We wanted a spot to grab a night cap so we came to the Savoy. First of all, it was decorated so beautifully for Christmas, which was amazing, but the staff was also so friendly! I just got a glass of wine so I wasn’t super focused on their protocols for allergens behind the bar, but they did have nuts on the table that I asked them to remove.”
Sightseeing: Westminster Abbey
Sightseeing: Trafalgar Square
Sightseeing: Harrods
DAY 3
Brunch: Côte Hay’s Galleria
“So good for a quick brunch!! We were walking Tower Bridge and then walking along the river and found this spot. Safely had avocado toast with poached eggs. The first question they asked when we sat down was if anyone had allergies, then our waitress added a note in about my allergies while she was putting in our order. My meal came out with a flag on it and was separate from everyone else’s meal.”
Dinner: Chilltern Firehouse
“Absolute MUST visit if you’re in London. This was hands down the my favorite restaurant we ate at in London. Amazing service, BEAUTIFUL restaurant with great ambiance, fresh ingredients, it cannot be beat. We split the vodka pie, the 48 hour chicken (omg, you NEED to get this. It’s marinated in a citrus marinade for 36 hours and then they dry it, then cook it. SO good.), grilled broccoli, roasted potatoes, and a green salad (except it was pink lettuce haha). THEN they had drunken watermelon sorbet, which is dairy-free watermelon sorbet that comes with a shot of vodka you pour on top. I can’t reiterate enough that you NEED to visit!”
Sightseeing: Tower Bridge
Day 4
Lunch: Hilton Paris Opera
“The staff at the restaurant downstairs is knowledgeable about allergies and helped me have a safe lunch while we were waiting to get checked into our rooms. I got a burger with no bun with a side salad (that I forgot to take a picture of) and it was fine and safe.”
Dinner: Gigi
“AMAZING!! First of all, we had a view of the Eiffel Tower from our table, so that was incredible. But the food was so good! We had the Pappa Al Pomodoro, which was tomatoes, basil and olive oil with some crispy bread to dip. Amazing!! Then I got the Rigatoni Al Pomodoro and it was so delicious (just make sure to ask for no cheese on top if dairy-free!!). For dessert, they had sorbets that came inside the fruit! We got the lemon and it was delicious. Ambiance is amazing, service was great, cannot recommend enough!! The servers were also really great about noting allergies and when our waiter wasn’t sure, he brought over the manager to answer questions, which was comforting.”
Sightseeing: Bateaux-Mouches
DAY 5
Breakfast: Hilton Paris Opera
“We had a quick breakfast before heading out to explore! The scrambled eggs had milk in them but the staff helped me find the ingredients for the bread and I safely ate bread, fruit, and bacon.”
Lunch: Carette
“My sister was dying to try their hot chocolate that is apparently TikTok famous so that’s how we wound up here! It was around 12 so we had brunch too. I got a chicken club and used my allergen cards to order safely. It was safe but honestly, not super amazing (I’ve never met a club sandwich I didn’t like but I didn’t really love this one). But, if you’re with someone who wants to try the hot chocolate (or you want to try yourself!) there were safe options!!”
Dinner: LouLou
“Another great dinner! I sort of thought the only safe option was going to be the pomodoro, which would have been great, but we asked about the fish + meat of the day and we ended up splitting the special sirloin of the day. They also came up with a safe starter, a mushroom salad, and 2 types of safe bread! The main entree (the sirloin) originally came with fries but the waiter came back and let us know that the fries were either fried with something with peanuts or it was fried in peanut oil (I couldn’t entirely understand what was going on) but moral of the story, it wouldn’t have been safe. So they made us a green salad with super fresh lettuce and it also came with amazing sautéed vegetables. Overall, SO delicious and highly recommend. They even had safe sorbet for dessert but we passed because we were stuffed! This restaurant is right next to the Louvre so it’s in a great spot!”
Sightseeing: The Basilica of Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre
Sightseeing: Arc de Triomphe
DAY 6
Brunch: 46 and 3RD
“Needed a safe spot after walking around all morning and found this on Spokin! The menu online lists all of the allergens and a lot of the items that contain dairy can be modified because the dairy is from the butter they put on all of their toast. I got the avocado toast with eggs. SO good!!”
DAY 7
Hotel: Hotel Royal
“This hotel was perfectly fine for what it was! I think if we could do it over, we would have stayed in a different area, but the main reason we were in Geneva was to go on a day trip to Chamonix, and it was close to the bus station where we met our tour guide, so that was great! They had a restaurant inside and a breakfast buffet! I’ll leave a separate review for the restaurant. Breakfast: We had a tour to Chamonix booked early in the morning so we grabbed breakfast at the hotel. The staff was helpful at knowing what was in each dish and I was able to safely eat eggs, toast, bacon, and fruit. It was a decent buffet and was quick, which was what we needed!”

Lunch: Josephine Restaurant
“I’m in Chamonix on a day trip and we stopped in here for lunch! It’s right on the Main Street and it was SO cute! Our waitress spoke English and I got the Shepards pie (which was just mashed potatoes, mushrooms and watercress) off of the vegan menu so I knew I didn’t need to worry about dairy and she said there was nothing to worry about with nuts or sesame either! It was DELICIOUS (although sort of random), and there was safe bread!!”
Dinner: HC Restaurant
“Originally when we got here, we weren’t sure it was going to work for my allergies. However, the waitstaff helped us find a safe platter to share (the sirloin with salad and fries) + a really great bottle of wine! It’s an organic wine bar so they have some really interesting selections! The waiters were great about checking the cooking oil (vegetable oil for the fries) + the ingredients on the sauces they put on our platter, which were all safe. Would definitely recommend for a fun vibe in Geneva!”
Dinner: Guided tour to Chamonix
DAY 8
Lunch: Le Bistro
“After an unsuccessful attempt to get fondue, we ended up just grabbing a quick bite at our hotel before heading to the airport to fly back to London. The manager at this restaurant was great and he came over as soon as I told the waiter I had allergies. He was very confident and I got a turkey club (which was seemingly a theme of this trip). It was great and was exactly what I needed before our travel day!”
Dinner: Carluccio’s
“We flew back to London from Geneva to fly out of Heathrow and stayed at the Marriott at the airport since we got in sort of late and had an early flight. The waiter was not the most knowledgeable about allergies but went back and talked to the chef after I asked him to confirm a few things he was unsure about and we decided on a piece of plain salmon with roasted potatoes and vegetables. It was a perfect meal after a long day of travel, but it was not anything overly special. I appreciated the chef’s attention to my allergies.”
