Barboncino Pizza

Barboncino Pizza

“I love eating at Barboncino! If you alert your waiter about your allergies, they are extremely helpful. One of my favorite neighborhood spots. I’m allergic to dairy, so one might not think that a pizza restaurant would be the best fit for me. However, they have an amazing selection of cured meats and salads in addition to pizza breads that don’t have egg or dairy. Feel free to call ahead and talk to a manager. Try the marinara pizza if you’re allergic to dairy! No eggs in the dough.”

“The whole place is 100% gluten-free! Their pizza bases are vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free — plus, they have nut-free vegan cheese! Such an easy menu to navigate and the food is delicious! Definitely will be going back to try something new.
They also have nut-free pesto on the menu!! My favorite so far is the bbq chicken pizza with Daiya cheese. ”

LITTLE ITALY

Da Gennaro

“Great service here! No nuts in the building (minus dessert I think!) and no eggs in the pasta! Got a great pizza and when I asked, they used a new pizza cutter to avoid cross contamination. Would definitely go back again!”

Joe's Pizza

Joe’s Pizza

“I’ve eaten the plain cheese, fresh mozzarella, and white pies without any issue. Super simple menu without many toppings. Only common allergens other than wheat and milk are eggs in meatball topping and I believe an anchovy topping.”

John's of Bleecker Street

John’s of Bleecker Street

“There are no nuts or eggs on the menu! Only fish in the restaurant are anchovies (choice for pizza topping) and calamari (appetizer fried in separate kitchen), but they are very understanding about food allergies. Tell them to wash the pizza cutter to be safe about cross contamination! Simple, iconic, safe option in the Greenwich Village (close to NYU).”

Kesté Pizza & Vino

Kesté Pizza & Vino

“We had to try here because I have seen so many celiac people on Spokin rave about it. They were so right! Best pizza my celiac kid has ever eaten he also had the meatballs which were delicious. There is a pizza that has pistachio on it but the waiter assured us he would use a clean cutter and keep it separate for my tree nut kid. All was fantastic and I would highly recommend. It’s in a bit of a random spot but super cozy and worth getting yourself over there.”
