“Found this while walking around Oia and stopped in for some dinner. I again got pizza with no cheese, the waiter understood my allergies. Such an amazing view. They had a lot of variety on the menu, pizza was super good, but also a little too spicy for my liking.”

“The food here was the most delicious I had in all of Santorini. They were educated about my allergies with help of allergen translation cards. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. Location: Finikia, Greece
“Many choices for a gluten-free vegetarian – the Greek salad is always a good staple in Greece. It was delicious here, with an interesting twist so it wasn’t boring after having had several elsewhere. The menu labeled allergens, too. Overall a very cute place, it’s fairly new as well so quite comfortable compared to the older tavernas, and had a great sunset view on the roof!”

“Acropolis Restaurant at Perissa Black Sand beach on the island of Santorini. The head waitress was extremely understanding and allergy aware, and of course, our Greek Equal Eats card was so helpful for clarity and understanding. Location: Thira, Greece
“I safely ate a vegetarian pizza here. The wait staff seemed confused, but they told me they make the dough in house, and they didn’t have peanuts or chickpea in house, so I felt safe. They told me I would be fine. I was LOL. Food tasted fine for street food.”

Pacman Sunset Restaurant at Andronis Arcadia
Location: Oia, Greece
“I emailed ahead of time about my allergy and the restaurant confirmed they would be able to accommodate. When I arrived, our waitress knew about my allergy. I still showed my allergy card, in Greek, and she brought it to the manager to review. I was surprised to learn that a lot of the sushi contained milk, because the Mayo they use for the spicy tuna/crab mix had milk in it. However, I was still able to safely eat some simple sushi rolls. All of the staff who served our food, in addition to the waitress, were aware of my allergy and confirmed the food was safe when they brought it to the table. Also, the venue is gorgeous at sunset!”

Argo Restaurant
Location: Thera, Greece
“We dined here one night while visiting Santorini and were seated in the best seat in the restaurant, overlooking the caldera with a breathtaking sunset. We ordered pita bread to start and then ordered the mixed grill for 2 people, which came with chicken, pork, kebab, burgers, sausage, lamb and potatoes. It was hands down one of the most delicious meals that we had in Santorini.”

Petrosia
Location: Oia, Greece
“It was our server’s first day so she was so nice, but a little new to the menu. She was willing to check on everything we asked her about which we appreciated. We ate here because it’s one of the few restaurants in Oia with a view of the sunset, which was stunning, but the food was nothing to write home about. Our daughter had a caprese salad, veal meatballs and spaghetti, and we had some bread with tomato paste, olives, and a feta dip. All safe and a nice location near an ice cream shop, that I also shared a review for, and all the shops!”

“I had a great experience here! I ordered an omelette with mushrooms, watermelon and a fruit plate. The man serving me (I think the owner) was very helpful and understood my allergies (with the help of the translation cards I brought). They have chickpea product in house, but he made sure to separate my food with no risk of cross-contamination. Very sweet place and he owns 11 cats that wander around the beach area!”

Cool Cave
Location: Oia, Greece
“This tiny and clean spot is located in Amoudi Bay right near Oia and near several casual spots to watch the sunset. It was our first place ordering ice cream in Greece and we were pretty shocked as we ordered and shared my daughter’s nut allergies-they were all over it, as if it was a common request, and cleaned that scooper–I don’t know why we were so pleasantly surprised, but we were. My daughter was able to safely order mint chocolate chip and coffee ice cream in a cone! So fun!”

Santoro
Location: Imerovigli, Greece
“Fine dining in Imerovigli–we went here for our engagement dinner and had a spectacular night. The restaurant sits next to an infinity pool overlooking the stunning views of the ocean. There were plenty of gluten-free dishes and the waiter was extremely knowledgeable. A good option if you are looking for that high-end fine dining option, but very very pricey.”
