EAT

Baja Cantina

“Waitstaff was confident and so helpful in explaining ingredients and menu items. Only one menu item contained nuts (a dessert with walnut), and that item was prepared in a separate area from the other food. My dairy-allergic daughter shared the chips and salsa appetizer and had the chicken strips and fries. My egg and tree nut-allergic daughter had a cheese quesadilla with rice, beans, and chips. It was so nice for our daughters to be able to order their first choice of food with no modifications. The food was delicious and totally hit the spot after a fun day in the PC Adventure Park. We will absolutely be back.”

Billy Blanco’s

“Daughter has celiac and peanut, and tree nut allergies. Son has sesame, tree nut, and chickpea allergies. I called ahead. They had a table already assigned to us when we arrived and two waiters dedicated to our table. They were knowledgeable AND checked everything with the kitchen and were a pleasure.”

Butcher’s Chop House & Bar

“I had the filet mignon with garlic herb butter, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. This was my first time eating at a restaurant (other than my 1 safe spot) in 9 years! My first fine dining experience was divine and scrumptious! The wait staff knew of my allergy prior, and the manager/owner even came to greet me to ensure I felt safe. Will be coming back!”

Summit House

“The 9250 Summit House at the top of Silverlode lift (Park City Mountain) has gluten-free buns for burgers and bread for sandwiches. They were delish – and they changed gloves to handle the gluten-free buns too. The hot chocolate is also gluten-free.”

The Beach Club at Promontory

“The staff of Promontory Club have been great to our peanut and tree nut-allergic daughter over the past few years. Today, she enjoyed beef nachos poolside. Our waitress was new and wasn’t sure about nuts in the kitchen, so she ran back to ask the chef our questions.”

The Eating Establishment

“The menu lists a ton of gluten-free options and was clearly marked. There is gluten-free bread, so pretty much anything with bread or toast can be made gluten-free. They did not have gluten-free French toast listed on the menu, but they made it when I asked. I clarified that they would not be dipping it in the same egg mixture that they dip the regular bread in. They made a separate mixture to dip the gluten-free bread. The waitress said she would go back to the kitchen and take care of it herself and make sure it happened.”

The Corner Store Pub & Grill.

“We grabbed a quick lunch on the mountain while enjoying their summer activities. Our daughter ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The waitress was awesome and immediately said she’d go check for any cross-contamination potential in the kitchen, especially with the fryer (so rare that a waitress even thinks about that!). We are peanut/tree nut-free.”

Windy Ridge Bakery

“We had a great experience here at lunch. The waitress immediately said that she would go ask the chef to double-check on safe items for our peanut/tree nut-allergic daughter. She was able to eat pasta with butter. We further inquired about the onion rings, and the chef personally called their supplier to double check on safety.”
