“We’ve been to both this location and the one in Mequon during our stay in the Milwaukee area and both were great with my son’s allergies! They prepared him salmon in a separate pan and always took note of his allergies and double checked that his dish was properly prepared. You could tell they checked with the kitchen too because one waitress came back and said their chef was going to prepare it himself! You can tell they take things seriously and I appreciate it so much. Great meal for the rest of the family too. FYI- limited nuts on menu (just pecans and walnuts on main lunch menu) but lots of dairy (this is Wisconsin but they easily accommodated his allergy)”

“The owner was so wonderful and accommodating. He was so patient with me over the phone when I first called to see if he could accommodate our allergies. Then when we went in which was another day he again went over everything with us. Even though there were only nuts in the salad I felt totally safe and confident with the pizza. It’s a locally owned place and absolutely delish. Handmade and fresh ingredients. Highly recommend. Gluten-free options too but we are not gluten-free”

“This is a regular go to for us. The menu doesn’t change and there are only a few items that would be unsafe for us but the staff knows which they are. 97% of the menu is safe as Mexican usually is. The food is always consistently good and predictable. The waitstaff is knowledgeable and many times gets the manager.”

“This is a larger market in Milwaukee with a number of different vendors to get food from – we love it and it lets everyone get what they want which is never the same in our house! There is a vegan spot called ‘On The Bus’ that has great fries that we learned were made by another shop there (a pizza and sandwich spot)—so we went over to them to ask and definitely not a nut oil and because they are made for the vegan spot they said they are made in a dedicated fryer! My daughter has also had pad thai from a spot that does have peanuts but they felt very comfortable making for her without nuts (honestly, I wish she would choose something else but it is so infrequent she can have Asian food…). She has had it safely a few times. There is also a spot there that I got fried cauliflower and I did make sure it was safe for my daughter and it was although I think it’s a special. Overall lots of options for a range of allergies and normally I would not think of this type of location as allergy-friendly but it certainly was and very close off the highway too if you happen to be driving through Milwaukee!”
