Cork

Hotel Isaacs Cork

Location: Cork, Ireland

“There were limited to no nuts on the breakfast menu but the buffet was small and had nuts. There was also no refrigerator in the room to store your own food.”

Dublin

The Morrison Dublin, Curio Collection by Hilton

Location: Dublin, Ireland

“This small but nice hotel is in a great location and safe area. You’re close to Temple Bar but it’s not noisy and is family friendly. The family rooms have 2 rooms which was nice for a family of four and each room had a small mini fridge. This hotel, like most in Ireland, comes with a free breakfast. The staff seemed educated and brought out meals for us after checking if they contained any nuts. They also advised what on the buffet contained nuts (only 1 thing that I can remember.) We missed breakfast the first day due to timing but it was so good we ate here the remaining mornings.”

Conrad Dublin

Location: Dublin, Ireland

“We ate breakfast in the morning and it didn’t look like much was safe on the buffet but we were able to order off of the menu. Note it’s an extra €9 to order off that menu but we got it free as a Hilton Gold Member. They once again asked if I had any allergies”

“I had the most incredible high tea at this hotel while studying abroad! I never got to talk to the chefs or see a menu since I came here on a class trip but my class was full of students with dietary restrictions, and we had an incredible professor who made sure we were accommodated for. I was so happy that this hotel fully accommodated for every single allergy and no one had any issues. Highly highly recommend this hotel for high tea!!”

Arlington Hotel

“Ate here with my family for the Celtic Nights dinner and show in December 2018. The menu clearly indicates which dishes contain any of the top 14 allergens. There is an entire page on the menu dedicated to allergen information and the staff is trained to have the chef adapt dishes, if asked.”

The Chancery Hotel

Location: Dublin 2, Ireland

“I spent a night here just before Christmas, solo. It was a lovely hotel, comfy beds, lovely amenities. I didn’t eat here but there was a lovely cafe/bar and a restaurant. It’s the perfect place if you are coming with a partner or solo! It’s in the hub, but off the road so you don’t get loud screaming all night but you can explore Dublin in an instant. I really liked the hotel and the people were lovely. Will definitely go back.”

“Loved this hotel spot! They have a cafe with food that is all allergy labeled with prepackaged foods. I didn’t dine at the restaurant here but it looked nice. Definitely recommend this hotel!”

Galway

Menlo Park Hotel

Location: Galway, Ireland

“The Menlo Park hotel restaurant’s menu is 90% gluten-free. I’ve been here a good few times and have always found them very understanding of celiac and cross contamination issues. The gluten-free cajun pizza and cheesecake was delicious. I’ve also had the burger here and fish.”

The Galmont Hotel & Spa

Location: Galway, Ireland

“I had a hot & cold experience at this hotel. Firstly, the rooms were lovely. We had a small fridge in the room which we stocked some nibbles in there. We had breakfast included- it is a buffet style of hot and cold foods. They had dairy-free milks, gluten-free breads & muffins (not amazing products but had options). I asked the manager if they could prepare hard boiled eggs and smoked salmon for me. Which they did (and used my equal eats card). It was a simple breakfast but I ate it for 3 days and it set me off for the day. However, when I enquired about nightly room service I was met with frustration and ignorance. I would say, don’t have room service. The spa is lovely, quite basic but having a jacuzzi outside in the sun was wonderful. I would say, know what you want, and request it. I had a lovely time here and the breakfast staff were amazing.”

Killarney

The Lake Hotel

Location: Killarney, Ireland

“Excellent breakfasts here (and one night of room service). Staff were very knowledgeable and thoroughly checked for cross-contamination, explained carefully where there may be nuts in the kitchen etc. Also noticed a separate gluten-free section with a dedicated gluten-free toaster at breakfast!”

Rosslare

Kelly's Resort Hotel & Spa

Kelly’s Resort Hotel & Spa

Location: Rosslare, Ireland

“We have never had such a positive experience. Our son has multiple protein allergies and when I made a basic inquiry before traveling I was put in touch with the head chef, who took comprehensive notes and came up with a full 4 day meal plan for my son. When we arrived we were introduced to our own dedicated waitstaff in the restaurant, and they made and brought in special treats for my son for each day. Being able to travel somewhere and to not have to bring bags of food was a totally new experience for us. The customer service in Kelly’s is well known but I really felt they went above and beyond!!”

Waterford

Waterford Castle Hotel & Golf Resort

Location: Waterford, Ireland

“I stayed here with my family in December 2018. The menu very clearly lays out 14 common allergens and uses a numbering system to identify which dishes contain which allergens. The staff are extremely helpful for any and all dietary needs.”

Waterville

Butler Arms Hotel

Location: Waterville, Ireland

“Ate at the hotel cafe, which has an absolute stunning view! On top of that, my mom was able to eat a delicious creamy soup that was gluten-free and served gluten-free toast on the side. She was so excited!”
