“We have been to this restaurant in Tucson and loved it and always wanted to bring our allergy girl here, and it was safe (seriously so nice and careful), and she loved it! It’s healthy, cute, and just a happy spot! She shared pita and hummus with my husband and had a poke bowl. Wish there was one where we live!”
Quality Italian
“We were EXHAUSTED after moving our daughter into her dorm and didn’t have a reservation because we thought we were eating at a school BBQ – we went, but decided we wanted one more dinner out together somewhere nice. I checked the Spokin app, and this restaurant was literally attached to our hotel, so we tried it — it was really good! They definitely had pistachios in their pesto, but well labeled (it’s my daughter’s worst allergy, so it definitely makes me sit up and take notice), and the server was all over it and so helpful. They bring out monkey bread, which is complimentary, and thankfully I saw another review mention it just because we don’t love the surprise food. We split everything and had calamari, a whipped ricotta appetizer, and then we ordered 2 specials: wagyu meatballs and truffle pasta – food was really good and service so nice. Also in a fun area with tons of shops called Cherry Creek and only 10 minutes from the University of Denver!”

“We had a really nice and safe meal here. We’ve been to the Chicago location before, so felt somewhat familiar although it had been a while. We got to sit outside, which was so nice, and we walked from our hotel. We were very impressed when our waiter pulled out not 1 but 2 allergy sheets that her carried, one from the restaurant and one that he made for himself because he thought it was clearer. There was only 1 item that my daughter wanted, but her said it was in a shared fryer with nuts (it was a crispy vegetable roll) and knew that right off the bat. After we placed our full order, he checked every item against his sheet to be 100% sure. Definitely appreciated his attention to detail! We ordered food to share and the tofu, which was all of our favorites; eggplant, glazed pork ribs (without peanuts) for an appetizer that I personally didn’t try but not a fan fave, shaking beef that they are known for, which was just okay, and garlic noodles, which were good! Definitely recommend!”

Little Man Ice Cream Cherry Creek
“This place may not meet everyone’s comfort level, but my daughter safely had ice cream here, and it was GOOD! They do have flavors with nuts, and they share that they are all made in the same place, but she said she “had” to say that and was very happy to scoop from a new bin. My daughter has an espresso fudge and cookie dough. I had the “salty o”, which was like a cookies and cream with Oreo and a hint of salt, which sounds odd, but they said it was one of their most popular flavors and SO good!! This was located in Cherry Creek near all the shopping; we went after dinner, walking back to our hotel, and from their napkin (see my pic, they have several locations!).”

“We stopped here to grocery shop when we dropped my daughter off at college, and she also safely ate a breakfast burrito that they had on their breakfast bar — it was already wrapped. Great selection of all the safe brands at home!”
Halcyon, a hotel in Cherry Creek
“I’m a little mixed on this — all was safe and cute, vibey hotel in such a fun area. We noticed when we checked in that they had brownies out, and my daughter, who definitely has a sweet tooth, asked if they had any nuts, and right away they said no and that they make them in-house; she/we were more asking out of curiosity/reflex and didn’t have any. In the morning, they had muffins, and we asked again, and they said no nuts, and we still passed. On our last night we ate dinner at the attached restaurant, Quality Italian (see my review) and when we walking into the hotel in the same spot there were cookies – they looked like red velvet with white chocolate chips and my daughter asked again (this time, she really wanted to try) but the idiot there said not sure why don’t you take a bite and find out and my daughter handled it so well and said we don’t play that game, not funny — I’m not even sure he worked there but was standing with the guy that for sure worked there and checked us in and this time he took the cookie and took a bite and said I don’t think it has nuts and that they make it themselves — my daughter was rightfully annoyed (I was furious) and she said to us it just would have been nice if it was handled with I don’t known but can find out instead of what felt like talking to 2 junior high kids — yes, I’m venting haha and I looked at the guy right after it happened and said not funny. That said, we definitely liked the hotel, and everything else was really nice. On our floor, there was a nice stand to get water and fresh fruit, which was nice.”
