Hattie B’s Hot Chicken – Nashville – Lower Broadway
“Hattie B’s is my favorite hot chicken place in Nashville! I’ve eaten at multiple locations and have had no issues with my peanut/tree nut allergy. They say they do not use any nuts in their kitchen and have clear allergy info on their website.”

Joyland Restaurant
“Joyland has gluten-free fried chicken “Joysticks” in a separate fryer from their regular friend chicken, just make sure to clearly order gluten-free. Their gluten-free fried chicken biscuits are only available in the mornings.”

Sixty vines
“Fantastic dinner spot in downtown Nashville directly across the street from the Ryman theater. Everything can be made gluten-free including their cauliflower crust pizza made in its own oven. Dedicated fryer for their fried chicken that’s served with caviar and is insanely good. We also opted for the cheesecake and the fig/prosciutto pizza. The server showed us how his hand held order devices have options to note gluten allergy when he entered our order for the kitchen. I’ve heard one of the owners has celiac and that’s why they’re so good but can’t confirm.”

Edley’s Bar-B-Que
“Had the hot chicken platter- delicious and super spicy! Delicious side of mac and cheese, i also got baked beans but was too full to try them. Very nicely labeled allergen menu at the counter, just ask the person taking orders for it. My gluten-free fiancé had the brisket platter, grits casserole, baked beans and potato salad. Typically cornbread comes with all platters-the man at the counter marked her order with ‘Gluten Allergy’ and let her sub in a 3rd side in place of the cornbread. Would love to come back here, felt very safe!”

Kitchen Notes
“Fantastic brunch spot inside the Omni in downtown. Great spot to start your day. They can make everything gluten-free except the hot chicken. They have waffles (own waffle maker), biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and gluten-free bread. We loved the pancakes and biscuits and gravy. “
