Minneapolis Allergy-Friendly Travel Itinerary
Hey y'all, I'm Victoria! I'm a food allergy mom to Adelaide who is allergic to peanuts, tree nuts (except almonds, coconuts, and hazelnuts) and wheat. She has gone through wheat OIT and is in a maintenance dose so that is why in this board you will see a smorgasbord of gluten containing and gluten-free places in our travels. We live in Des Moines, IA and have a close family friend who lives up in the Twin Cities that we visit regularly. This was our longest trip up there yet, and we got to eat at some old familiar favorites and explore new places! Our new favorites to visit are Sweet Science Ice Cream and Sift Gluten Free Bakery, but we had to stop by at our favorite donut shop, Yoyo's too. Can you tell we have a sweet tooth?
