“Ariccia Cucina Italiana is found inside the Auburn Hotel and it is a hidden gem! There is never a trip to Auburn where we don’t eat here! They make all of their bread and pasta fresh in house! My personal favorites are the margherita pizza and the rigatoni bolognese! I always mention my allergy to our server and they will notify the kitchen!”

Fellini’s Pizza

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

“We love Fellini’s! Most of their food is free of nuts. The only item they mentioned that people with nut allergies should avoid is the meatballs. They are made elsewhere, so they cannot guarantee there are no nuts in them. The meatballs are kept away from the area where they prepare my daughter’s food. We appreciate how understanding they are about us asking the same questions each time we order.”

“The pizza was great! I’d recommend the community pie. The waitstaff was accommodating and helpful for my nut allergy. Our server was great and even said the manager at the time had a nut allergy so there were no nuts in the kitchen. We ended up going back twice. They do have an outdoor patio on the dock to watch the boats. All allergies are different so double check the menu before going because menu items and ingredients can change. Always tell the server about your allergy before ordering. “

“True to the welcoming feeling Bozeman has to offer, we were so excited to stumble on Red Tractor Pizza! We were immediately greeted, and we said we are a food allergy family. “Great! What do we need to manage tonight?” We gave our list, and the server knew almost everything off the top of her head, including mustard, yet asked for a few minutes because she wanted to double check and confirm the dough doesn’t have sesame in it. Our son was excited to build his own pizza with garlic spread, Daiya cheese, pineapple, and red onions.”

“The staff here is amazing with allergies. For starters, they make the bread in house, and they made me a new batch just to be sure it was safe. Our waitress checked everything with the chefs, making sure it was safe. I ordered a pizza (without cheese) and felt very good with the whole experience. Overall, the staff is very knowledgeable, the food is delicious, and I definitely recommend!”

Pagliacci Pizza

Location: Seattle, Washington

“My favorite pizza outside of Connecticut (where I grew up on New Haven style). Pagliacci does an excellent job handling allergies via a “code red” protocol where they will use clean utensils to avoid cross contamination. They don’t have any nuts on the pizza line, but they do use legumes in the shop so I always have them cut my pizza with a clean pizza cutter or I’ll just ask for it uncut. All ingredients are fresh and the crust is delicious. Highly recommend if you are in the Seattle area.”

il Canale

The food was fantastic (salad, pizza, pastam and meat balls). They also did not put a biscuit on my spoon when ordering an espresso (which often is the point where the staff forget about the allergies). You really should try this place. They also offer gluten-free options.”

Their menu has all allergens listed and they really understand and are happy to accommodate any allergy. Plus we thought that since it was in a touristy spot (the Trevi Fountain), the food wouldn’t be so good, but it was actually really delicious!”

@nilouraiman who manages peanut, tree nut, milk, and egg allergies
