Marco’s Coal Fired Pizzeria | Ballpark

Location: Denver, Colorado

“Had the best gluten-free pizza of my life! Heads up that the menu lists it’s made with below parts per million wheat ingredient. On their website they say “Our gluten-free pizza crust is made with Antico Molino Caputo Fiore Glut – Gluten-free flour mix. This “blend of rice and potato starches, rice and soy flour, sugar, thickeners and dietary fiber”, combined with our daily preparation and hand-stretched techniques ensure that our gluten-free pizzas are some of the best available. Although we are not a gluten-free facility, our gluten-free pizzas are prepared with their own utensils and cooked in their own wood-fired oven to prevent any cross-contamination.”

He assured me there was no egg in any of the products we were ordering (Margherita pizza, truffle shuffle, kids chicken meal, and a Greek salad). He also stated no tree nuts other than gelato but that was in a contained area. Upon arrival, they alerted me the margarita pizza sauce had egg in it so they subbed it with something else, and assured me it was all prepared by chef on separate trays. They were kind, informed, and vigilant.”

Red Tractor Pizza

“True to the welcoming feeling Bozeman has to offer, we were so excited to stumble on Red Tractor Pizza! Located a quick walk from the beautiful downtown area, their menu clearly stating dairy-free had us excited. We then went in their website and read their philosophy. We decided to go in. We were immediately greeted, and we said we are a food allergy family. “Great! What do we need to manage tonight?” Wow! We gave our list, and the server knew almost everything off the top of her head, including mustard, yet asked for a few minutes because she wanted to double check and confirm the dough doesn’t have sesame in it. Wow, again! As we are teaching our son how to vet places, he said…”mom, this seems like it will work!” What a treat! He was excited to build his own pizza with garlic spread, Daiya cheese, pineapple, and red onions.”

When it’s by allergy they change gloves before handling your pizza, and have separate sauces, oils, etc. that are used only for gluten-free pizzas. The best part: no extra charge for any allergy substitutions! No matter what you get or how many toppings you choose, it’s just $9.00!”

Our waitress checked everything with the chefs, making sure it was safe. I ordered a pizza (without cheese) and felt very good with the whole experience.
