1. Chipotle Mexican Grill

“There are no eggs, tree nuts, or peanuts at Chipotle! The only thing you have to worry about is dairy. I just ask them to use separate gloves and explain that my daughter has a dairy allergy and we haven’t had any problems.”

@lindsaystippich who manages tree nut, peanut, milk, and egg allergies

2. Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

“We can choose from several pasta shapes and a few sauces and toppings without cheese. They don’t normally add cheese until it gets to the table, so I don’t have to worry that they will forget to leave it off. Unfortunately, the salad dressing has dairy, but two soups are safe as well as the breadsticks, which makes waiting for our entrees pretty painless”

@sarahme82 who manages peanut, cashew, milk, flax, and sesame allergies

3. Red Robin

“We’ve eaten at several locations and had no issues. We make sure we say what our allergies are and if you do the gluten-free bun to not have it buttered if you have a dairy allergy.”

@vkotz who manages peanut, tree nut, milk, egg, and wheat allergies

4. McDonald’s

“This has to be one of the most consistent chains. We don’t eat here often, but it’s safe to have on the road, airports, etc. It’s easy because there are several items that work for breakfast, lunch and dessert.”

@adamwood who manages peanut and tree nut allergies

5. Wendy’s

“Never had a problem with Wendy’s, and what’s really awesome is that, at some locations, they have a nutrition list with many allergens on it with the different dishes they serve! Super considerate!”

6. P.F. Chang’s

“P.F. Chang’s is wonderful when we go with my daughter. They will print out a new allergen menu specific to your needs each time if you want (just to ensure that you are safe in case anything has changed). The waitstaff is very helpful and patient. They are great to work with. I absolutely do not worry when we eat there.”

@punkinmama who manages cashew and milk allergies

7. Moe’s Southwest Grill

“There are no nuts in the whole place! Always a safe option when traveling!”

8. MOD Pizza

“All MOD pizza locations I have been at have dairy-free cheese. The red sauce and crust is also dairy free. All staff wear gloves and have the cheese in a separate bin. I have asked them to use a separate prep space as well. They all cook in the same oven, but it looks like they’re pretty vigilant and I’m happy we can now go out for pizza!”

@squirrelcage83 who manages milk and cod allergies

9. Blaze Pizza

“Blaze pizza was the first time my son could have cheese (vegan) pizza from a restaurant and he was so excited! The staff was awesome and made sure to change their gloves when it was his turn.”

10. Chick-fil-A

“I have been able to look up the allergen information and it has been accurate. When asked how the scrambled eggs were made for one of the bowls, they printed a sheet noting no dairy! Just thankful they are willing to help out!”
