Gluten-Free Paris, Nice, and Monaco Top Picks

Hi! I’m Leslie, and we recently traveled to Paris, Nice, and Monaco! We found several celiac-safe spots for my son and shared them on the Spokin app—they are also all featured in this guide. One of our favorites was Copains where we went several times, and my son’s favorites were the chocolate croissant and an eclair. A fun thing to do if you are in the area is go to the top of the Eiffel Tower! Paris

Breizh Café Montorgueil | La Crêpe Autrement

Location: Paris, France

“All of the savory crepes are buckwheat and gluten-free. The sweet crepes can be made on the buckwheat crepes as a substitute. Not dedicated kitchen but separate prep area.”

Copains

Location: Paris, France

“What’s better than a dedicated gluten-free bakery with croissants? We went here several times on our trip. They have great pastries and sandwiches and slices of pizza. We would often grab things for several meals at a time. There are several throughout the city the staff is very helpful. They walk around and tell you everything was and gather items on a tray for you. The plain and chocolate croissants are delicious. We also liked the babka, baguettes, donuts and eclairs. Also loved the ham and cheese bagel sandwiches.”

GROM Montorgueil

Location: Paris, France

“Loves going to the dedicated spot for gelato in Italy and was so happy to find it in Paris. No gluten here! Not even in the cones!”

KAPUNKA Cantine Thaï – Montorgueil

Location: Paris, France

“Everything on the menu is gluten-free except one thing. My understanding was that it was fully gluten-free. It’s kind of strange that they have one gluten item. But anyway, delicious pad thai and good coconut milk flan for dessert.”

Le Sâotico

Location: Paris, France

“The owner has celiac, and her husband is the chef, so they are on top of things. Pretty much the entire menu can be made gluten-free except the burgers and the pasta dishes. And there are lots of gluten-free dessert choices as well. We had the salmon and crème brûlée. Everything was delicious.”

Novotel Paris les Halles

Location: Paris, France

“The hotel is in a great location with a metro station right outside. Close to many gluten-free spots including a Copains bakery—7 min walk. The rooms are spacious. We didn’t eat breakfast here since we were always going to Copains.”

Su Misura

Location: Paris, France

“A great dedicated gluten-free spot near the Eiffel Tower. Same owner and pretty much same menu as Tasca. Pizzas, pasta, and more!”
