Gluten, Dairy, Soy, Peanut, Hazelnut, + Corn-Free Amsterdam + Paris Top Picks

Hi! I’m Lauryn and I recently traveled to Amsterdam, the Netherlands and Paris, France! I found many safe spots to eat while managing celiac and peanut, hazelnut, soy, dairy, corn, flax, and pineapple allergies and shared them on the Spokin app—they are also all featured in this guide. One of my favorites was Chez Ann in Paris, where I had gluten free xiao long bao (soup dumplings). A fun thing to do if you are in the area is to walk to Montmartre to see local artists, visit the Sacre-Coeur, and go shopping at boutiques. France

Su Misura

Location: Paris, France

“Great option if you want gluten and dairy free Italian food! They were VERY familiar with gluten-free, seemed like the chef may have celiac or have a family member with it. I was able to talk to him and he walked me through what I could eat. They have a wide variety of food I could eat including ravioli and bread. They even had little gluten-free biscuits for the tea.”

Copains Marais

Location: Paris, France

“If you’re gluten-free, this will be the BEST place. It’s 100% gluten-free and they have a huge variety of baked goods. However, if you have other allergies I highly recommend you double-check the ingredients yourself. I shared my allergy card, but then they sold me a product that had 2 of my allergens in it.”

Chez Ann

Location: Paris, France

“This may be my favorite place in Paris. This is an incredible dim sum restaurant with so many gluten-free dumplings. They even accommodated my soy allergy which can be tough. The owner’s mom (the chef) has celiac disease, so I felt very safe.”

Judy Market

Location: Paris, France

“Loved this place for breakfast. Food was DELICIOUS and fresh. They were educated about allergies and able to help me find safe options like chia seed pudding. We ended up going back again!”

Netherlands

Miuz Gelato & Coffee

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

“This was my favorite dairy-free gelato I’ve ever had. The pistachio is perfection. Plenty of dairy-free options. They have a gluten free cone but didn’t have the ingredients handy in person. I was able to email after and get them, but they contain soy. Definitely worth stopping by! Be prepared to wait in line.”

Petit Lou

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

“Loved this place! We got breakfast here twice. They had buckwheat gluten free dairy free pancakes that I could eat! They also had fresh juices like passionfruit mango. They were super helpful with my allergies and I felt great after.”

Wild & The Moon

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

“Great place for breakfast, snacks, or quick lunch. They were willing to make adjustments to the smoothie based on my allergens.”

De Kas

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

“This was a delicious Michelin star meal and I felt very safe. They have a greenhouse where they grow the ingredients and it’s a beautiful atmosphere. Although the menu changes daily, they reviewed my allergies and prepped accordingly. They were very creative and I didn’t feel like I missed out. Make a reservation far in advance because it books up!”
