ALABAMA

Spa at the Grand
Location: Fairhope, Alabama
“The Spa at the Grand, connected to Point Clear’s The Grand Hotel, is a luxurious spa with a variety of high-quality treatment options. During my most recent visit, I received the signature massage with the hot stone add-on treatment. Prior to my session, my provider and I read through the ingredients and found it best that she use the nut-free oil option. The staff were all very kind and accommodating, and all snack options in the venue’s “Quiet Room” were individually packaged and labeled. While a nut-containing option was available, they also had nut-free snack options. We love the Spa at the Grand and can’t wait for our next visit!”

Zero Nine Day Spa
Location: Scottsdale, Arizona
“Brittany and her team are amazing at accommodating those with allergies and skin concerns. I got a facial and dermaplane treatment and she let me read every single ingredient for my treatment, as well as subbed products out so that I could get the full effect while being safe. They are such a sweet team and it was an amazing facial as well!”

Osmosis Day Spa Sanctuary
Location: Freestone, California
“I went here for a work event! There is a form you fill out after you make your reservation where they ask you about your allergies. Once I arrived, I spoke with my massage therapist about my nut allergy — as soon as I mentioned it, she mentioned that she had known from the form, and double-checked with me to make sure that coconut is okay for me. She then went on to assure me that she read the ingredient labels and that she would only use coconut oil and a nut-free lotion. Although they do have almonds in the front lobby for guests to snack on, everything was clean and I trusted my massage therapist! This spa also specializes in Cedar baths (run by different staff members) — I was a bit worried so I just did a foot bath instead of a whole-body bath. I had no reaction, and it was nice! Since this was a work event there were four of us (all coworkers) doing the foot bath at once. They served tea to the group and there was a dish with cashews on the side. I didn’t have a problem since it was just a small bowl of nuts sitting there (and obviously knew not to eat them).”

Chuan Spa at The Langham
Location: Chicago, Illinois
“We took our daughter for her first massage at this spa which is inside the Langham Hotel. I did share her allergies when we scheduled but I was very impressed when we got the email with the form to fill out, and one of the first questions was so you have any medical condition and there were pre-populated options and the first one was food allergies!”

FACE FOUNDRIÉ
Location: Chicago, Illinois
“I took my non-allergy daughters here for a facial (my allergy girl is away at college) and one of the first things they asked was if we had any allergies! I asked if they could manage a nut allergy and they says no problem and recently had a client who needed to avoid gluten. I’m definitely taking my allergy daughter back!”

PENNSYLVANIA

The Lodge at Woodloch
Location: Hawley, Pennsylvania
“This place is AMAZING! They can accommodate any allergies for both their treatments and in their restaurants. I got customized meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The staff was so amazing and accommodating, they would even bake safe desserts for me and give me the recipes. I would order the meals earlier in the day and could get anything I wanted (on or off the menu). For the spa treatments, I talked to them before any treatments and they took the time to go through every single ingredient and confirm it was safe or make any necessary adjustments. Could not be happier with my experience here!!”

GREECE

Divine Cave Experience
Location: Imerovigli, Greece
“We stayed at Divine Cave Experience for three nights while in Santorini at the recommendation of a blogger who raved about the property. The reason we chose to split our stay in Santorini was to experience Imerovigli (best sunsets in Santorini) and to also experience Oia. This was by far one of the prettiest, most romantic hotels that I’ve visited, and the service was exceptional as well. We also reserved 2.5 hours in their spa cave and got a couples massages during that time. They made sure all of the ingredients in the oil was safe for my allergies.”

Myconian Korali Relais & Châteaux
Location: Mykonos Town, Greece
“This was hands down one of the best hotels that I’ve ever stayed at. Everything from the service, to the food, to the spa was absolutely perfect. My significant other and I did a thalassotherapy treatment first followed by a couples massage. The massage that I got used these super unique shells that I have yet to see in the States. They made sure all of the oils were safe. Highly, highly recommend! We cannot wait to come back next summer.”

“I got a massage here and they were so good about handling my nut allergy. They don’t use almond oil and I bring my own oil too that I know I’m safe with. The masseuse also didn’t eat any nuts on the day of the massage and washed her hands before to be extra safe. I felt very well looked after and had a great massage.”
